🦋Chapter 29th✨🧚🏻

A few months delayed and a few months in the making. Was not really sure on what direction I’ll go with this year’s birthday shoot. I have felt I was stucked and stagnant for a short while both creatively and emotionally. For instance I though I lost my creative touch and eye for artistry. Like an artist suffering from creative block. And this goes hand in hand in my mid-life crisis. A surge of emotional and career pressure plated before my very eyes. This time, the amount of what ifs and whys came in all direction. Questioning my very core and previous life decisions. Am I heading to where I envisioned my life to be and to what I should be? Am I presenting myself the way I deemed to be? Am I person with substance? And so on. Reflecting on this shoot I was again taken aback and reminded that the simplest of things do matter and still understated. There is joy and contentment in indulging with simplicity. So as I unravell all these tangled strings in my life. I aspire to see myself in a better place with the right mindset and life’s direction.

D-day finally came and one of my greatest joys in life! My little brother finally earned his Bachelors!!! After years of hurdles and endless maze of mishaps we’ve eventually sailed and docked at his destinations. Even writing this post is surreal and I deeply know this is going straight to my core memory. I felt all sort of emotions going back and forth the whole moment I am witnessing your graduation. It is a testament of a FAMILY EFFORT, I couldn’t done it without the help of our entire family. And as I mentioned before this is a family win for you and for us. Now that another chapter of your life closes, I’m feeling plenty of windows are slowly opening for you and your choosen field. It’s time to set your voyage and define your journey at your own words and expense. I just can’t wait what things you’ll be doing and industry you’ll be climbing. Nevertheless, remember your family got your back and we are always proud of your achievements, may it be small or big. Lots of love brother dear 🤍😘🥰

Dream a better dream, and make it work.

What a reminder to aging. Often these days I caught myself thriving to do better for sake of achieving something. To prove something for my own sanity and ego. But what is it that I truly want? What am I seeking? Why do I tirelessly pursuit one venture after the other? So many thoughts left unanswered. So maybe this year as I pay more attention to every little detail of my journey I prayed and hope to see answers and attain enlightenment in some ways.

Joyous that I’ve got to start December with cousins. And it felt holiday vibes kicked in pretty early for me. Pretty much growing up holiday seasons is what we look forward each year. Since it would be the time for us to gather around and continue our yearly traditions. May it be a single stroll to Angels burger or just star gazing in our vast sugar land. It’s been comforting and invigorating to be with them during these times and especially that now we are all #adulting I guess family is best gift of life after all!

I sincerely prayed that not only us but most of us would have a family that we can turn into. May be it blood related or chosen. May most of us not feel lonely and sad this holiday season and may all right of us have a little to celebrate for 🙏🏼✨ taken in Napatagan Mountainview Café by @peppysamm

One thing being the sugar baron of Philippines, it left us with so much majestic ancestral houses owned by the Dons and Donas of their time. And being there just give you a glimpse of how extravagant ilustrados are during their time. Ahhhhh what a life it could be!
