This race wasn’t easy for me - I haven’t run 5 miles or sub 10:00 minute miles in a while so both the mileage and the pace were a stretch but I had a blast running with Graham and soaking in the race experience together! We crossed in 42:27 and I was really happy with that! Thanks for the good time, @richmondmarathon !

Race day starts with an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and confident! Besides being tired after a 5am wake up, I was feeling ready to rock the Richmond 8K, aka have a ton of fun dressed as a tie dye rainbow!

I love the energy and excitement of a race weekend!! Picking up your race bib and shirt, seeing all the fun offerings and brands at the expo, seeing everyone there getting ready to run a race - a runner’s dream! The @richmondmarathon expo was so well run and had some of the cutest merch I’ve seen! So pumped to be here for a fun weekend because of @nuunhydration !

Richmond 8K tomorrow!! I’m so excited to be lining up tomorrow and a huge thank you to @nuunhydration for the opportunity to have some fun! While I’m not prepared to truly race, I always loveeee a race day and I can’t wait to have a blast from start to finish. This race is going to be the perfect inspiration & springboard to launch training for some exciting 2026 goals!!! Good luck to everyone racing the 8K, half, and full marathon tomorrow! Let’s do it!
