Renee Petkovski, our very own jazz instructor at Oakland University, isn’t just shaping dancers in the studio—she’s helping shape Olympic ice dancers on the world stage.

Since 2022, Renee has been coaching Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik, from the very beginning of their partnership. As a member of the prestigious Olympic coaching staff at Novi Ice Arena, she serves as their dance coach and choreographer, bringing artistry, musicality, and connection to life on the ice.

We are happy to announce, Emilea and Vadym are headed to Milan to compete in the 2026 Winter Olympic Games—an extraordinary milestone and a testament to Renee’s vision, dedication, and impact.

Nominated for MOST ENTERTAINING Program!
Im so proud and elated! This needed a place on my wall.
We had so much fun with this one! No matter what I asked, they came back each time with, “we can do it!” Their energy and dedication made it a joy to create.
We worked so diligently on every detail. Each glance, gesture, head movement, kiss, and yes, even finger placement…they nailed it.🔥
Hearing @johnnygweir comment on the amazing nuances and strong choreography was music to my ears.

If you have a second, please click the link and vote for @emileazingas and @vadym____kolesnik for most entertaining! 💥

You do have to create a log in , but it’s easy and takes less than a minute.
Link is in my bio!

Thank you for the support! 🙏🏽

Girrrrl, we always have so much fun! 💃🏼🚲
You selflessly included @vincentazzopardi15 and gave us both the VIP treatment! Your generosity made the whole experience even more special. 💗

Watching you shine in your role as a #SportsAmbassador with such confidence was amazing.

From student to true friend — I’m so proud of you ❤️

I can finally forgive you for retiring too soon… I think 😉

5th at their Olympic debut! 💥

I am so beyond proud of @emileazingas & @vadym____kolesnik !!
Not just for how they skated, but of how they carried themselves — with poise, composure, and true sportsmanship.

I’m so grateful to have been in Milan to witness all our hard work come to fruition. ⚡⚡️

All the love and support pouring in for them, for me, and for our entire team was icing on the cake. ❤️ ✨
