In the next 8 weeks, I have 6 confirmed speaking engagements and 10 finance classes to teach, including two on the West Coast, one in a women's prison, and one at the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.

This picture is from my first paid speaking engagement in NJ. 9/27/2014

I was a college dropout. I never thought people would pay me to speak so I never asked for money.

Afterward, someone asked for my business card and I pulled one out of a Ziploc bag 🤦🏾‍♀️

The next week my best friend popped up at my one-bedroom apt with a red leather briefcase she ordered for me.

"If you're going to be speaking and you want people to take you seriously, you can't be pulling your business cards out of Ziploc bags."

I still have that briefcase.

I still have that passion.

Now, sometimes companies fly me (and my momma) out to speak.

Sometimes I get paid a deposit in September to speak for an event in February.

Sometimes I do it for free with no questions asked.

Every time I show up as myself, covered and sent by God.

Uncompromised and unstoppable.
