Our summer kicked off with this wonderful family session at a beautiful Connecticut park.

They were celebrating the birth of their third child! This is a family who is known for their love of nature, a good floral bloom, and especially for the love and kindness they share.

Thank you, Anthony & Justine, for including me in this special moment. Being witness to your journey throughout these years has filled my soul more than you know.

Too many summer highlights to put in one post, but this has to be one of my favorites!

Not only do we capture major life moments like these, but it’s just as important for us to tell your story!

They’ve been together for a few years and when he called to share his plan to propose, I was thrilled to be part of the plan!

We set it up as a family portrait session, and managed to bring all of the pieces together for this beautiful proposal!

It’s just not the same if your story is not a piece of these major life memories!

Last weekend Kayla & Tim celebrated their beautiful wedding day in a very simple and low stress way!

They wanted a celebration that included a natural landscape, the opportunity to celebrate with the closest of family and friends, including their little nieces and nephew (who they adore), and made sure to include Kayla’s grandma, no longer with us on earth, but a woman who Kayla holds near and dear in her heart.

Kayla is the 3rd of three daughters I’ve been blessed to photograph as brides! Over these years, I have had the privilege to witness the bond this family shares & the genuine support these sisters have for one another. Tim, you are one lucky guy, as I’m sure you already know!

Thank you, I am truly so grateful for such a warm welcoming and to share another of your life events!

Multi-tasking, one of my greatest strengths and possibly, one of my greatest weaknesses! Sometimes taking on too much can get overwhelming. Who knows?!

But there's one thing for sure, I'll be dropping into more of these moments as life so quickly passes by.

This in my granddaughter, who had her first photo lesson with Nonna, last night. I gave her a "real" camera and a very short lesson where she proceeded to photograph all of the beauty around her. "This is so beautiful, Nonna", she said.

I recently listened to a podcast that helped me to better understand how important these moments are in our lives. Thank you @melrobbins who said,

"What about dropping into this moment and just taking a beat, and appreciating it?"

I had the very best honor to not only witness but capture the love between my dearest friend @julianrundlett and his new wife, @thuyngg. Julian and Thùy celebrated 7 beautiful years together by bringing their loved ones to the Massachusetts countryside for a ceremony that left not a single dry eye. A perfect blend of Vietnamese and Western traditions, and a day full of love, family, and joy.

❤️ So many happy tears! What a fantastic wedding, bringing together family & friends from all over the world! And the love shared with Emily & Eric, was evident in so many wonderful ways … tears of joy, group hugs, genuine expressions of caring, and some of the most beautiful vows I’ve ever heard.

It’s hard for us to express, as artists, how much it means to capture these moments … the ones you will cherish for a lifetime! We couldn’t have done it without a great team of vendors, but mainly, a fantastic couple, who brought us all together to celebrate their love.

Thank you, Emily & Eric, it’s been such a pleasure being a part of your journey! Keep smiling, keep crying those tears of joy, keep loving! Congratulations! ❤️
