The end result!

I'm calling it 'coral clouds'. From a distance, I think it gives the illusion of clouds, but as you get closer, it reminds me of coral.

Playing around by grouping the bowls together, cloud like formations began to emerge.

I had a vision of creating a piece of art for my home to add some texture to the walls. I wanted it to be elegant with a modern twist, abstract in style, using an 'object' to create a design. I imagined this object to be simple in form but also detailed. Lastly, I was keen to embrace imperfection, so it had an organic feel.

Living by the sea, I love watching the waves roll in and observe how the swash forms delicate frilly patterns that disappear as quickly as they emerge. This inspired me.

I hand-sculpted a miniature object that fit my brief. I'm not sure what to call it. A cup? A bowl? I'd love to hear your ideas below.......

This beautiful oil painting of Clevedon Pier was a birthday gift from my brother a few years ago. It was painted by the very talented @tomhughespainting, and I love it as Clevedon has been my home for the past 17 years.

Injecting something new into an interior can often cause a ripple effect, and I started to look at my walls differently. This sparked an idea that I've been working on for a long time and will share shortly.

Have you put up any decorations for Easter yet? Here is a little arrangement I made a few years ago for a customer who wanted some decorations to fit in with her coastal property.

What a beautiful sunny morning. I'm off to the shops soon to fill my basket with some chocolate eggs before they run out. I learnt my lesson last year when I went a few days before Easter and then were all sold out!

Easter production ground to a halt yesterday morning as I managed to take a slice out my hand while chopping spinach. It's only finally stopped bleeding and begun to clot so I'm having to rest it and let it heal. On the positive side my partner is having to do all the washing up now haha.

Enjoy your weekends!

Hello....a quick delivery update for customers.

Last posting for delivery before Easter (within the UK) is on Monday 11th April.

I still have some goodies available and will shortly be making the last 8 sets of wooden speckled eggs that will be ready to ship on Monday. It will then be time to put my brushes away and move onto something new.

Have a wonderful weekend 🐥🐥🐥
