Clarity, embodied.

Before I could bring calm to anyone else’s chaos,
I had to learn how to come back to myself.

This journey was never only about weight, fitness, or what changed in the mirror.
It was about regulation.

Learning my own nervous system.
Learning when to soften, when to pause, when to move, when to release.
Learning how to practice equanimity in real time.

Because the work I do - across chess, law, film, TV, tech, wellness, and the arts - requires more than strategy.

It requires presence.
The ability to think clearly in complexity.
To hear what is not being said.
To organize what feels scattered.
To become the calm inside the room without absorbing the storm.

That is the work.
That is the practice.
That is Perfectly Claire.

*I've been on a weight gain journey since leaving a toxic relationship in May 2024 that left me thinner than my healthy size. A dysregulated system can do that. I was also diagnosed with PTSD. Today I'm 22 lbs heavier, stronger and back to myself.

Clarity looks good on me.

People ask why I don’t look my age.

I think it’s because I’ve learned what not to carry.

I don’t hold everything in my body anymore.
I don’t make a home for tension.
I don’t confuse struggle with purpose.
I don’t let chaos decide my pace.

I practice regulation.
I practice equanimity.
I practice choosing peace before my body has to beg for it.

That is the glow.

Not perfection or pretending life has been easy.

Just a woman who learned how to return to herself, again and again - and let ease become part of her discipline.

Where you are isn't all there is. Don't let your "cell" make you think otherwise.

The sun broke through clouds and rain the minute I arrived in Cassis, and lasted my whole time there. God is amazing.✨️

On my last day, my last stop was at Dad's. He made me lunch to make sure I was full before my flight to London. Looking out from his flat above the endless cobalt sweep of the Mediterranean, the horizon seemed to say, “Keep going."

I always felt alien growing up in New York. People often ask, “Why are you so happy?” I find the question sad for them. I “smile too much” for a city that prides itself on ‘edge’ apparently. Too much wonder and light in my energy for a city where cynicism rules. (But I will still curse someone out because, Brooklyn).💁🏽‍♀️

Visiting Jamaica since childhood, going to grad school in Nigeria to study African art, and taking a sailboat round-trip from Sardinia to Corsica in the early 2000s showed me how alive life can feel away from concrete. Every mile I’ve logged since has changed me at a cellular level. Travel isn’t a luxury; it’s medicine for the spirit.

Bad news will shout for your attention. Look up anyway. Step into your next horizon and begin rewriting your story. Where you are isn't all there is. Don't let your "cell" make you think otherwise.

Twirling through the sun-washed lanes of Cassis—pastel walls, sea-salt air, and that endless Côte d’Azur sky overhead—I’m reminded of a simple survival tactic: when life presses down, tilt your chin up.

In 2011, company politics closed the door on my 9-5, and pushed me to lean into my natural gifts, the catalyst that powers everything I do today. My very first client was venture capital expert, Denmark West—a friend of my boss at the time, Steven Wolfe Pereira, who made the introduction. The forced pivot was truly my blessing. And again, alignment. I had executed on a passion project for Steven with alacrity, putting in back-to-back 80 and 100-hour weeks to bring it to life on a tight timeline. My whole heart was in Steven's project. He could see who I was and that set the stage. The dismissal from the company was a level UP! I am now an entrepreneur who can spend a month enjoying Europe while still getting my work done. I am eternally grateful to @wolfepereira and @denmark313. And now of course, @mauriceashleychess as I mentioned in my last post.

In our lowest valleys we’re often inches from a higher view we can’t yet see. One turn, one deep breath, one brave step forward can reveal a whole coastline of possibility.

So if pressure tries to pin you down this week, pause—lift your gaze, breathe, soften your shoulders, and let hope widen the horizon. Possibility is waiting just past the next turn.

Back on US soil after a month in Europe to celebrate my birthday. Two days after landing in NY, I’m catching river-front sun in DC while at work. So much has manifested in a year almost to the day that I escaped a harrowing situation in my personal life.

I am living my vision. And now, unfettered.

I wasn’t built for the hamster wheel. I was built to fly when my spirit says go, to help people untangle what overwhelms them, and to do it on my own terms. But I was ridiculed when people with "stability" didn't understand it. I get it though. Not everyone is built for this. Yet ironically, here I am, blooming while headlines scream layoffs. Stability is overrated; alignment is everything.

Sun days are for stillness, gratitude, and a reminder: the same spark that moved me forward is inside you too. If the ground is shaky or the headlines have you anxious, pause. Go within. Take inventory of what comes naturally—those things you do so well you barely notice. That’s your compass.

As an image coach I clear the clutter—perceptions, ideas, spaces. I can attack chaos to produce clarity because I know it very well, and it doesn't phase or overwhelm me.

I work remotely for the world's first black chess Grandmaster, Maurice Ashley, to help channel the infinite output of his genius mind, and serving as his primary liaison for clients and media. In DC I'm spending 2 weeks alone in a gorgeous home to do an organization job that would take me 4 days if I was on a clock. I get to move at a pace that feels like leisure and also manage projects remotely from my laptop. None of it happened by forcing; it happened by aligning.

Let your gifts speak, even in uncertainty. The right rooms open, the right work appears, and the clock starts working FOR YOU. Plus, fear loses its grip.

Stop chasing. Surrender, align, attract. God already booked the itinerary—first-class. ✈️✨

Cassis, south of France. A year ago to the day of my flight there, I was in court, forced to enlist legal help to remove a toxic, draining entity from my life. A year ago I was a world away from where I am now. God is good and I couldn't be more grateful.

Visiting while Dad is there doing his third residency was a bday present to me. His photos from previous years were goals.

There is nothing you can't overcome. And what is for you, no man can take from you.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Don't do that. Do you.

Practice perpetual gratitude.

You did all of that with weight on your shoulders. Imagine what you'll do when you're flying free?

On my birthday 3/3, I gifted myself a trip to the south of France and UK one way, leaving my return to intuition. I've enjoyed Europe while I work remotely. It's the life I imagined for myself, even when others couldn't see it because my personal aspirations didn't fit into their box of options. And even when obstacles did their best to prevent my progress. But as my minister Aunty told me years ago: Your gifts will make room for you. That they have for the past 12 years that I've spent as an entrepreneur.

I help people find clarity, which means different things for different people. I use different approaches to clearly present thoughts, image and space from chaos. Boxless, boundless work. Ironically, my talent is boxing things and ideas. 🤷🏽‍♀️ It is a very special, very rare and intimate service, yet apparently so needed. People find me. And I choose who I work with.

Tune in to your inner voice.

Get rid of the weight and fly.
