What happens when movement becomes a creature?

A creature can be wild, fragile, strange, familiar, unpredictable.
It can hide, transform, communicate, resist, or simply exist.

This is Perform.Berlin — an independent dance platform bringing together emerging artists, different movement languages and curious audiences in one space.

For our second edition, CREATURES, we invited artists to explore the theme in their own way — through movement, bodies, imagination and everything in between.

Swipe through to discover the concept behind our special evening. →

Then come experience it with us.

Come curious. Come open. Come meet the creatures.

Arseniy @asap_senich — next in the list of our guest performers.

Arseniy is a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher currently based in Vienna. His practice brings together contemporary and urban dance, soft acrobatics, improvisation, performance, and choreography.

“For me, it is easier to express certain thoughts and ideas through my body. So, rather than having a conversation, I would often choose to dance with someone to get to know them.”

Come by @lakestudiosberlin on October 24th to experience his interpretation of “Creatures” on our stage.

Audience ticketing information coming soon!

As the second edition of Perform.Berlin is slowly approaching, we’re happy to announce our first guest artists!

Ten & Tamae will be joining us on stage and presenting their interpretation of the theme “Creatures.”

Tamae Yoneda is a contemporary dancer and choreographer from Osaka, Japan, based in Berlin since 2019.

A finalist of Japan Dance Delight, she has developed her practice across contemporary and urban dance, battles and international projects. Working as a dancer, choreographer, teacher and judge, she explores movement through her own method, “Movement Poetry.”

In 2025, she founded My Piece of Paper, a contemporary dance collective connecting different perspectives through movement.

Ten is a Berlin-based street dancer whose practice bridges street and contemporary dance.

With 27 championship titles, including CULTURE CONNECT 2025 and GETFLOW BATTLES 2026, he has performed internationally across Europe, Asia and the Americas, including at Tanz im August and SXSW. He has also collaborated with the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company and represented the Republic of Korea as a member of the Air Force B-Boy Team.

His creative practice explores the nuances of human speech, actions and relationships through dance.

Join us on October 24th at @lakestudiosberlin to experience this collaboration in person.

Audience ticketing information coming soon!
