🎉 Dori’s CDX 🎉

What an incredible milestone for Dori! Achieving a CDX (Companion Dog Excellent) title was no small feat for this tiny dog! It reflects true teamwork, precision, and dedication. Obedience is humbling and you get really good at failure. 😬

Her heeling felt effortless and was nearly perfect. Her retrieves were so good and we lost no points for mouthing the dumbbell, which really make feel like the hours of training and effort are paying off. This leaves me so motivated to continue!

What a day! I am still an emotional wreck. I am happy to announce that Eleanor has achieved her CDX title in Obedience. She earned her title today with a score of 193/200 and even qualified on her second run today too! The hard work and dedication this took, goes without words- especially for a sport that isn’t my favourite. If you haven’t done obedience, you have absolutely no idea how challenging it is. I’m so glad I didn’t give up when it got tough. As some of you know, we have struggled with her stays- and today, she did everything so perfectly.

Frisbee season is over- October brings lots of shows! 7 days, 3 different sports with 3 different dogs. Have I bitten off too much? Most likely! Dori is going to try utility (the highest level of competitive obedience)- this is the first time I’ve done utility with any dog! Excited but also scared shitless. Scotia is also entered in rally & ob, and of course, Eleanor sticks to just agility (considering dock diving season is also over). Such a fun photos by @fluffinmals; thank you! by @performancefloofs

The road to Utility has been so much fun! 🥹❤️

We headed to the fun match at Agility World today, and after today, I’m starting to think that maybe… just maybe… all of this is actually coming together!

The skills are almost ready, Dori is loving every second of the process, and today gave me a little more confidence that we might be closer to being ready than I originally thought.

We’re stepping into the Utility ring for the first time three times this October, which is both incredibly exciting and just a tiny bit terrifying! 😂

Can’t wait for the rest of the ride with my little perfect dog. ❤️🐾

Somehow, everything feels a little lighter with these dogs by my side. They have a way of turning the hardest days into better ones, bringing joy when I need it most, and reminding me to slow down and appreciate the little things. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without them. ❤️🐾 by @performancefloofs

The 2026 Summer Splash hosted by @fitcanineathletics was SO much fun again this year! ☀️💦🐾

These photos pretty much sum up Eleanor’s entire personality: tiny dog, HUGE love for the dock. 😂

I absolutely love that this little 8-inch Papillon has somehow become a crowd favourite. I mean, she’s tiny, adorable, and apparently completely convinced she’s a professional dock diver. 😂♥️ She may be the smallest dog there, but she certainly doesn’t act like it!

Thank you so much Felicia & Amanda for another ridiculously fun day! We always have the best time. ❤️

The 2026 AAC National Championship in Brome, Quebec is officially fini, and now that I’m finally home, it’s time for a little recap! 🇨🇦🐾

Eleanor finished 5th overall in the 8” Regular Height category with 500 points! 🎉

I’ll be honest… I found Eleanor’s runs a little messy this weekend 😂 It’s a darn good thing this girl can GAMBLE, because those gamble runs really saved us! I’m incredibly proud of her and everything she brought to the weekend.

Dori finished 4th overall in the 4” Special Height category with 478 points! ❤️

I was SO impressed with Dori this weekend. Her weaves were excellent, and it really feels like we’re finding our rhythm together as a team.

And of course, there were 10 hour long car rides, trying to speak French, questionable road-trip decisions, lots of laughs, and everything in between. 😂 @frecklesnfurr: my trial buddy- THANK YOU! I’m so grateful I got to experience this weekend with you. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard to organize and run this event. We had an absolute blast. 10/10 weekend! To everyone who helped make this happen (raffles, surprise donations, buying sourdough) THANK YOU! 🫶

I always come home from weekends like this with so much determination to get back to work, tackle our weaknesses, and come back even stronger next time.

Very happy with Dori’s progression through learning utility. We still have some of the exercises to finish up, but it’s coming along real nicely and we’re having fun with it! 💕 by @performancefloofs
