📝 FYI: Before February's OSAP changes, the Ontario government passed Bill 33 back in November '25.
SWIPE to read @cfson zine about this legislation 👉

The 'Supporting Children and Students' Act gives the Ministers of Education & Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security (MCURES) control over universities' decision-making regarding admissions and ancillary fees. It also expands policing in public elementary and high schools.

This is a crucial part of the Ford government's ongoing plans to limit access to education. Although Ontario has just boosted public funding to universities (an update to slide 4!), students are forced to pay for it with increased OSAP loans and limited campus autonomy.

🚨 Enough is enough. Join the rally at Queen's Park on Wed, March 4, and check our pinned post for more actions and events this week!
We will continue to share information and actionable steps forward here and in our newsletter. taken in Queen's Park by @performancesu

Hey performance students!

Are you one of the first or second years navigating through classes, crew calls, rehearsals, and everything else that comes with the throes of life and your studies? Or a third or fourth year who remembers how difficult of a transition into university can be, and you'd like to be there for our new students?

Then do we have the program for you! Your friends at the PSU are bringing back our Performance Mentorship Program. If you scan our QR codes here, fill out our quick form depending on whether you'd rather be a mentor or mentee, and we'll pair you with whomever would be a good fit!
