Had so much fun playing in makeup this weekend I almost forgot about about going out. Unfortunate state of affairs, my makeup been so neglected damn near all my products are expire (I almost cried). Red liner dried out so I used my Stunna lip paint that’s too old to go on my lips and I prayed to gods I ain’t sweat or cry it into my eyes.

Also, devoured a peanut butter jelly sandwich to keep the tequila at bay. Bread crumb as evidence (it was good, hot pepper jelly n almond butter to be exact 😋) by @peribeing

God I missed COLOR. Can’t live a life of grey, or just black and white I gotta stay Alive—snickering thinking bout my parents reaction when I go visit “so now that you’re a serious girl, you have to be done with all these colors and looking some kind” hehehe oops I’m still a bizzy body Pokémon 🌈

Grandma on ma ears, sister on arm ☀️💚

When the sun had a peak a boo moment a couple of weeks ago, I need her back so bad 😔

One of my fav things about clothes/adornments is the passage, the inheritance of things from others. This bag is like half my age, a real grown teenage I look forward to aging even more(side note, it’s interesting to watch the resurgence of some brands cc True and Coach the last couple of years, always reminding that if ya love get it take care of it don’t bother with trends they come and go); and the earrings I don’t even know how old lol. But I love the people who make up my tapestry. excited to pass down when it’s time.

Oww also thinking about this sun dress I got from my oldest sister, I have a picture of her in it from 2006. There’s some rips but I’ll deff be patching it up for the summa as well. Loving the convos with folk about the importance of crafts people, the tailors, the bag repair, the shoe repair etc but also generally the ritual and traditions of taking real good care of your things so they last, and they last long enough to travel. Aging been sweet parting these lessons on me. Yap over, I just got some extra time now 🥳🤸🏾‍♂️ by @peribeing
