Since I was a little girl, I knew that the one thing I wanted to do was connect with people through performance. I wanted others to feel what I feel when I watch someone step on stage and tell a story.

Little me would be so proud because these two weeks reminded me of who I am and who I’ve always wanted to be.I made a promise to myself that I would stop neglecting the performer within me and finally give myself permission to do what I love most and that is performing.

To some, two weeks may not seem like much. But to me, these two weeks were everything. They were the reminder I needed to stop waiting and start choosing the things that make me feel most alive. To start choosing myself and to start feeding and nurturing my inner child. These 2 weeks was a love letter to who I was, who I’ve become, and who I have yet to become.🤍🤍 by @perlaavaldezz

To my lifelong best friend, the person God has blessed me with for this lifetime and beyond happy birthday. I pray this new year brings you every blessing you’ve ever wished for, because if anyone deserves it, it’s you. I love you until our very last day. by @perlaavaldezz
