Majority of these clips are from one of the darkest, brokest, most depressed, hopeless, and confusing eras. Every time I felt myself about to collapse, I would record a video as a distraction. And then I became obsessed with recording myself (which I used to hate/feel embarrassed about). The joy is true and steadfast, even when my faith in myself and God and future was wavering. I’ll tell it all eventually because I don’t have shame, but woooo what a journey—what a life. And certain people will never understand what it was like, and I hope they don’t ever get it. However, “all things work together for good…” is the only reason I could smile and laugh through it and continue to. These videos of me just being my silly self mean so much to me because I should have been sobbing way more but I refuse to pity myself. One thing imma do is bounce back. And I’m glad to have had so much love and encouragement around me while doing so. Now I look back at these as time stamps and laugh about what I thought I couldn’t make it through.
