GTG MIX 063 | Pernox

Hailing from Magdeburg, Pernox moves through the deeper corners of techno with a sound built on stripped-back rhythms, driving grooves and atmospheric detail. His sets unfold patiently, building tension and momentum before letting the pressure loose.

That approach has taken him to RSO, ELSE, Tresor and Poing Rotterdam, while releases on Mama Told Ya and Maison Close have further shaped his path. With his own imprint Lost in Perception, Pernox continues to explore the space between depth and drive.

OUT NOW: Maharti - The Ritual of Piere (LIPE001)

For its sophomore release, Lost In Perception welcomes @maharti_ to the fold, delivering a powerful EP that plunges even deeper into the label’s shadowy aesthetic.
Continuing the sonic trajectory set by the debut, this EP thrives in the late hours of the night. Across four originals, Maharti crafts immersive soundscapes where subterranean basslines and spectral echoes collide, demanding full surrender on a dimly lit dancefloor.
Stepping up for remix duties, label boss @pernox__ deconstructs Maharti’s framework into a dense, murky roller. The result is a hypnotic reinterpretation that drips with the same eerie, unsettling intimacy established on the label’s first outing.

Tracklist:
1. Maharti - Be24
2. Maharti - Push to Step
3. Maharti - The Ritual of Piere
4. Maharti - Snorfiets
5. Maharti - Snorfiets (Pernox Remix)

RSO, what can I say? ❤️‍🔥
Thank you so much for going on this opening journey with me. Started off with a 30 min ambient trip, went over to deeper and breaky stuff and finished with some driving tunes in the end. Huge shoutout to all the dancers for the high energy already at the start of the night. taken in RSOberlin by @pernox__

When I started DJing I only cared about peak-time bangers and enjoyed playing openings the least. But over time I realized how much artistic freedom it gives me as I can play tracks I love that I feel don’t really fit in other slots. It’s also a big responsibility to set the tone for the night and to have to right feeling for slowly building the energy. Super happy to show you my version of it this Saturday at @rso.berlin

Full circle moment incoming next week as I’ll have my @tresorberlin debut on Monday for @singularity.berlin x @tearsofjoy.label

Back in 2016 Tresor was the first proper techno club I’ve ever visited and hell yeah this night turned my life upside down. I fell in love with the music and club culture from the first moments I entered the club and this passion has only grown stronger over the last 10 years.

Feels surreal that I’ll be playing in that booth but I’m so much looking forward!
Thx to brudi @echoesofoctober for the invite 🫶🏻
