For one Philadelphia man, he's keeping the past alive through thousands of graphic T-shirts.

Perry Shall has more than 3,000 vintage tees that are neatly stacked on countless shelves in what he calls his "T-shirt library" inside his East Germantown home.

A big part of his collection includes shirts of popular Philadelphia institutions, icons and food.

Shall's collection is almost like a wearable scrapbook that started after finding his dad's old T-shirts when he was just 10 years old growing up in Northeast Philly. He hopes one day to open up a T-shirt museum.

I guess since I was the only person to design his first and only t-shirt he ever made, it was only fitting I was the person to do his first official standup album as well!
This cover was super influenced by Gilbert and all the things he loved. Old stand up comedy albums, old horror movie posters/magazines, and old comics. All of which I was lucky enough to flip through a few weeks ago with @daragottfried.
Preparing to work on this and going through hundreds and hundreds of old photos from Gil’s life, finding about 50 Jay Leno and Arsenio autographs, mini bars of soap, novelty gag items and junk only a true maniac could love, it was a highlight of my life and I only wish he was there with me to roast me through the whole process.

Endless thanks to @daragottfried @neilpberkeley @800pgm for having me, @therealjeffreyross for the album title, and anyone I forgot, for trusting me to get this one right.

This is a top 5 movie for me and I never get sick of it. It was an honor to do it and I am so glad they approved the idea for the back. I always loved that intro. by @perryshall
