Persohna – Liminary Lifeforms LP
Releasing 31 July on Aesir Records

Ahead of the release, selected audio snippets are now available.

Liminal Lifeforms explores the space between decay and emergence. Stripped-down and intentional, the album draws from classic techno foundations while leaning into a raw, hard-groove aesthetic. Tight percussion, controlled textures, and an uncompromising focus on energy shape a sound built for the floor.

This is techno reduced to its most essential form — clear, direct, and physically driven.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐚 - 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐏

Persohna returns under the Aesir Records banner with the new EP, Outline. Stripped-down and club-ready, the release is anchored by precise drum programming and propulsive bass lines. Each track pares its elements to the essentials, crafting space and tension while sustaining a taut, functional rhythm.

Outline traverses late-night club atmospheres, favoring dry, focused sound design and minimal layering. Though each piece stands independently, the EP retains a cohesive thread, reflecting Persohna’s approach to production and label direction.

𝐀𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 – 𝐕𝐀: 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐨𝐥. 𝟏

Subsurface Vol. 1 marks the first various artists compilation on Aesir Records, presenting a focused selection of forward-thinking underground productions from Dani Durán (ES), Deranged, FALN, Inez Akker, Obseth, and Persohna.

The release establishes the label’s intent to explore restrained, atmospheric, and rhythm-driven interpretations of contemporary techno and adjacent forms.

Across the compilation, each contributor approaches the framework of the underground with a distinct perspective. The result is a cohesive yet varied listening experience, built around tension, reduction, and textured sound design rather than overt narrative or maximal arrangements.

The record leans into a stripped aesthetic where space and precision carry as much weight as percussion and low-end pressure. Rather than relying on peak-time conventions, Subsurface Vol. 1 positions itself in a more controlled environment—focused on depth, detail, and sound system functionality.

Forthcoming....

𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐨𝐥. 𝟐 - 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬

Aesir Records continues its focus on emerging talent in contemporary electronic music with the second installment of its Various Artists series,𝘚𝘶𝘣𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘝𝘰𝘭. 2 The release brings together a curated selection of new and developing producers, unified by a shared emphasis on functional, club-oriented techno.

Stripped back and purposeful in design, the EP leans into a reduced aesthetic where rhythm, texture, and space take precedence over excess. Each contribution is geared toward the DJ environment, prioritising directness and utility on the dancefloor while maintaining a restrained sonic identity.

𝘚𝘶𝘣𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘝𝘰𝘭. 2 reflects the label’s ongoing commitment to providing a platform for artists at the early stages of their trajectory, framing techno in its essential form: focused, minimal, and built for transition and movement within a set.

N U L L EP out now!
Bullet Records proudly welcomes @persohna_official to the label with Null, a five-track EP rooted in the essence of hypnotic, old-school techno.

Driven by raw synths, bass, and rolling grooves, alongside a stripped-back, functional approach to the dancefloor, Null explores repetition and tension in their purest form. Each track unfolds with precision, featuring layered rhythms, subtle modulation, and a deep, immersive energy that recalls the foundational spirit of underground techno while remaining firmly contemporary.

Null moves with purpose, designed for late hours and dim lights, where movement becomes instinct and time dissolves into sound.

We are truly thrilled to have Persohna on board as part of the Bullet Records family. This release marks a powerful addition to the label’s vision and a strong statement from an artist pushing forward with clarity and intent.
