Just two days left to see DIVINE COMEDY ✨

A little look back at Saturday night and the opening of Divine Comedy, a group exhibition curated by Helena Safari, bringing together the work of 12 artists here at Natasha Pearl Gallery.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening. It was such a wonderful evening, and we loved seeing the gallery so full of people enjoying the work.

And, of course, an enormous thank you to all 12 artists whose brilliant work has made this exhibition what it is, and to Helena for bringing it all together.

If you haven’t seen Divine Comedy yet, there are just two days left to visit.

The exhibition closes this Saturday, 10th October, so do come and see it while you can. There is a fantastic collection of work throughout the gallery, and it really is worth seeing in person.

DIVINE COMEDY
Curated by Helena Safari
📍 Natasha Pearl Gallery, Chalkpit Farm, Bekesbourne
Final day: Saturday 10th October
Open Wednesday–Saturday, 10:00–15:00
Sunday, 10:00-14:00

Come and have a final wander around before it disappears 🤍

Why I made Endless Pages

By Christopher Coker (Persona13)

"Endless Pages" is a vibrant collage of news articles, song lyrics, and book excerpts, all layered onto a canvas and partially obscured by multicolored spray paint. The spray paint adds a chaotic burst of color, blurring the lines between the different texts and creating a sense of endless stories blending together. The artwork displays the overwhelming flood of information we experience, where voices from the media, music, and literature mix into one continuous, colorful narrative. Each word may be hidden or highlighted, but together they form a vivid tapestry of ideas and emotions.

This piece was made from medium-density fiber, acrylic paint & spray paints.
420 x 594mm.

Why I made Walk on water

By Christopher Coker ( Persona13 )

This piece is about self reflection, determination, persistence, patience and overcoming adversities. Relating to self alchemy and transformation of doubts by self expression through art and creativity. Searching for signs that are significant to reaching ones higher purposes and universal destiny. Walk on water is a true testament to how I felt after my parents died. Questioning my ability to continue and strive towards better positive outcomes. The clarity of water is symbolic of emotions and the ever wavering movement of change. Adapting to shift's, the ebb and flowing life path shifts like the sea. As the legendary Bruce Lee one said, " Be as water my friend"

This piece was made from medium-density fiber, acrylic paint, gold & silver dust, and spray paints.
