Hi, I'm Georgia 👋🏻 the posing coach behind Personalised Posing.

From my very first show in 2021, competitors and coaches kept telling me I had a ✨presence✨ on stage and asking if I'd looked into posing coaching. In 2023 I finally stopped brushing it off. No business plan, just a compilation reel and a willingness to be seen.

Before bodybuilding, I spent a decade in acting and performing arts. That's still how I see posing: self-expression, not a checklist of positions.

I coach posing, performance and presentation for female competitors in Bikini & Swimsuit, Wellness, Sports & Fitness, Figure and beyond, across ICN, NBA, IFBB, NPC, OCB, WNBF, ANB, FMG and similar Federations. Federation always comes first, because the same category name doesn't mean the same criteria.

My client numbers are capped on purpose. You're not one of many here, you're THE one in the room. I work alongside your prep coach, I'll always be honest with you, and I'll help you bring out the confidence that's already in there instead of forcing it. 🪄✨

In person in QLD and online worldwide. 2027 books are open 💜

If you want to own the stage, DM me or tap the link in my bio to book a casual lesson or ongoing coaching. 📲

If you’re asking “when should I start posing?” - the answer is probably sooner than you think. 💜

I always recommend starting at least 6 months out from your first show. And here’s why that actually matters:

Posing takes longer than people expect.
It’s a skill. Like any skill, it needs time, repetition, and consistency to develop properly. You can’t rush muscle memory - and you definitely can’t cram it in 8 weeks out when your body and brain are already under the pressure of peak prep.

Six months gives you:

🗓 Consistency - regular lessons that build on each other, not panic lessons crammed at the end.

📍 A secured spot - your preferred dates and times are locked in, in advance, no worries.

🧠 Less decision fatigue - posing becomes second nature, so deep in prep you’re refining, not learning from scratch.

😮‍💨 Buffer for life - sickness, work, family, unexpected chaos. It happens. Extra time means it doesn’t derail you.

📈 Steady progression - we can actually move through your posing development properly, building layer by layer.

The athletes who feel the most confident on stage aren’t the ones who started posing 8 weeks out. They’re the ones who gave themselves the runway to actually get good at it.

Your stage debut deserves more than a last-minute cram lesson or two. 💜

6 months out from your debut?
That’s your sign. 💜

Mobility is the part of prep nobody posts about, but your posing feels it straight away. 👀

Here’s Gabby running through an open book, one of the mobility moves I encourage my clients to do before they practise. Thanks for being my demo, Gabby. 💜

Your posing asks a lot of your hips, upper back and shoulders all at once. Twisting into quarter turns, opening up your lats, keeping your chest lifted for minutes at a time. When those areas are stiff, you end up forcing the position instead of moving into it.

A few minutes of mobility first and you’ll notice:
✨ Your twists feel easier and less forced.
✨ Your chest and lats open up more.
✨ Your poses and transitions look smoother.

When to do it:
🕒 A few minutes before every posing practice.
🏆 Backstage on show day, before you pump up (just be more mindful when you have comp tan on though!)

Got a niggle or an injury? Check in with your physio before adding anything new! (I’m not a physio aha).

Save this as your reminder. 💜

Can we talk about post-show blues for a sec? Because nobody really warns you about them. 💜

For months, every single day has a plan. Training, food, posing, check-ins. Then show day comes and goes, and suddenly there’s this big quiet gap.

Without telling you how you “should” manage this phase of your journey, I’ll just share what helped me:

💜 Taking the focus off my physique for a while. I pick up random hobbies (I dabbled with the indoor skydiving after my last prep heh heh)

💜 Leaning on my people - having accountability buddy chats helped me to express when I was struggling and also to ground me and keep me accountable in my recovery post-prep.

💜 Giving time back to the parts of my life that took a back seat in prep - I was able to nourish my social life a little more and free up mental space to just be ✨ HUMAN ✨ something which you are well and truly entitled to BE.

Funny thing is, my trophies are gathering dust. I forget they’re there half the time. What stays with me is the journey to the stage and the people in it.

If you’re in that dip right now, it’s so common and you’re not doing anything wrong. There’s so much more to you than one day on stage.

What helped you after your last show? Drop it below, it might help someone who’s in the dip right now. 👇🏻

If it’s feeling like more than the blues, especially around food or your body, the Butterfly National Helpline is there on 1800 33 4673. 💜

Alright, I’ve held onto this one for long enough, and I think it’s finally time to share. 🥹 I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched this video, reliving all the little moments that made this experience so special. From the excitement and nerves backstage, to the special moments shared with my coaches, and finally stepping on stage for the very first time. So many memories and emotions captured in one video, and something I’ll look back on with so much pride and gratitude. A moment I’ll never forget. ❤️

Competing in Season A 2027? This one’s for you. 👀

I’ve already got over half a dozen 2027 athletes working with me right now, and we’re putting the time into foundations, transitions and stage walking. 💜👠

That head start is a BIG advantage. It gives us the space to personalise the finer details of your routine, so by the time you step on stage it’s second nature. The stage starts to feel like a second home, and you get out of your head and just perform. 💜

It also leaves room for everything else in your prep, so prep brain doesn’t take over, hold you hostage or make it all feel like too much. 🫠

Perri trusted me with her very first prep, and then she went and wrote this. 🥹

Perri debuted on stage with @nbaaustralia_official in earlier this year and watching her own that stage after everything she’d put into her prep was really special. ✨

The overall result is what you see on stage. What I care about most is how you feel walking out there, and Perri said it better herself: she wanted to “enjoy the whole experience, not just perform well on the day”. That’s exactly what I want for every athlete I coach. 🙏🏻🥹

Perri, thank you for letting me be in your corner. 💜

Before we touch a single transition, we go back to the mandatories. 👀

Kyla’s back for Season A 2027 (ICN and NBA Bikini), and her first lesson back was a refresh of her front, side and back poses. After some time off, little habits creep back in, and it’s so much easier to catch them now than once your whole routine is built on top of them.

Quick reminder if you’re watching along: the tweaks in this video are for Kyla’s body. Your cues depend on YOUR physique, your federation and your category, so please don’t copy hers. The pose adapts to you. Never the other way around. 💜

I’ve seen some pretty shocking posers with pro-card-worthy physiques get completely out-posed (and out-angled) on stage... and still come out on top. 👑

This came up in a mentoring session after last month’s IFBB Pro League Nationals, we were debriefing what she saw on the livestream: posing, performance and presentation vs the actual physique, and which was weighing more heavily on the placings.

Even as a posing coach, I’ll be honest. We’re in the bodybuilding industry, and the physique IS the primary focus (and in my opinion, it SHOULD be).

Posing, performance and presentation play a vital role in how that physique looks, absolutely. They frame it and complement it.

When two winning physiques go head to head, that’s when those details really get weighed in. Sometimes it comes down to something as small as your bikini colour, the quality of your tan or how your hair is styled (yes, this is true). The IFBB Pro League Australia Bikini criteria even list hair, suit, makeup, poise and stage presence under overall presentation.

So please take your posing seriously. It IS the difference between 1st and 2nd. But great posing alone isn’t going to bring home the win, and in my opinion it would be a disservice to the industry to award a great poser who hasn’t put the same work into their physique.

Balance the two, and THEN you’ve got a truly award-winning package. 💜

I’ll always tell you why. Not just what. If that’s the kind of coaching you’re after, DM me to enquire about Ongoing Coaching for your next prep.

Fair warning, this one doesn’t have a dollar figure in it.. 🥹💜

Back in mid-2023 there was no business plan. Just a compilation reel, a handful of competitors and coaches who kept asking if I’d looked into posing coaching, and a willingness to be seen. That’s honestly how Personalised Posing started. ✨

So yes, I make posing routines. But I’m not here to change anyone. I’m here to highlight the parts of you that make you.. YOU. I’m here to make sure the judges can see it. The confidence you leave with should still be there, even when the tan comes off.
🪄 ✨

Being yourself is enough. Permission to take up space, granted. 💜

Your stagewear should make you feel incredible, then let YOUR physique and posing do the talking on stage. 💜

Sarah took out Ms Fitness Model Overall Champion at the ICN North QLD Championships, sword, crown and all - going on to win her Fitness PRO CARD with @icnaustralia - and she did it proudly wearing a custom bikini made by @kokoaustralia_stagewear 👑

That’s why I’m so proud to partner with @kokoaustralia_stagewear - When the suit fits your physique and your category, you can focus on owning the stage. ✨

My Ongoing Coaching clients get a VIP discount with Koko, so ask me for the details in your next lesson. 😉
