We had such a fantastic overnight stay in @visitmandurah this week! We jammed in as much as we could and there was still so much I wanted to see!

We’ve only found one of the giants so far and we will definitely be back to find more during the year. Start at the visitors centre and grab your guide book then begin your adventure.

My most event free school holidays in about 15 years! Besides the Royal Show I haven’t done anything kid related.

I had multiple days with only one kid home so we made the most of eating out. Dinner at the Servo Leederville before the Heathers musical, quiz nights, 21st anniversary and pizza shop openings. Let the Tornado choose for lunch today and he picked @varsity_au of course 🙄 so I tried their chicken taco bowl salad and it was delish.

@amigostexmex.freo has opened within a short walk from the train station in Fremantle.

Dinogirl is 19 now (how is that possible?!?) and she tested out the slushie cocktail tasting paddle for me and strawberry daiquiri was #1 for her. There is a huge drink list with a whole page of tequila and a tequila tree plus jarritos, shakes, mocktails and non alcoholic slushies.

We also got the Mexican platter which has a bit of everything, perfect for a first visit.

Nearly every item has a vegetarian option and different spice levels so there is something for everyone.

Heaps of room to spread out with the crew inside or outside and lots of special nights and events.

Cricket lovers this one’s for you!

The new WACA Museum has been completed and opens this weekend with FREE entry for opening day on Saturday 3 October. After Saturday entry for adults is $10 and kids over 4 $5, under 4 is free.

Head to the pavilion precinct at gate 1 to find the museum entrance.

Upstairs you can find out the history of cricket in WA with uniforms, trophies, scorebooks, the old turnstiles and more before heading downstairs where the kids can have some hands on fun building their scorchers team, see what they look like in the uniforms, try judging the spin on the WACA pitch and hold up the shield for the photo wall.

Make a day of it and hit the splash park after. I love the big pool overlooking the pitch and the kids get worn out climbing up to the slides. Entry for a family starts at $22.

There is also a great cafe on site and a fence playground called Karda Playspace which is free to enter.

Plenty of parking nearby and the beautiful queens gardens next door perfect for a picnic.

The final week of @lightscapeau at Kings Park!

The nights are looking cool but not much rain about so the perfect weather to rug up, get dinner at the food trucks, check out the lights and stop by the fire pits for some mulled wine and roasting marshmallows.

We loved all the lights this year! It takes about an hour to do the walk so take your time and enjoy the views and installations.

Cheers to the weekend! If you don’t have plans for tomorrow head along to the newest @ribslane at Hawaiian’s Forrestfield for KIDS EAT FREE Sunday!

A super family friendly location with indoor and outdoor seating right next to the playground.

Kids can pick from a range of options on the kids menu including mini burgers, pizza, Mac & cheese, nuggets and more!

We tried the wings, ribs, burgers, pizza and thick shakes then did not need dinner!

I recommend the 1m mozzarella stick which is a freshly baked wood fired pizza stick filled with mozzarella (that cheese pull 🤤), the pork ribs with bbq sauce and the classic RL burger.

🎢Looking for something to do in the second week of holidays and staying dry?
@readysetrideperth is happening now at the PCEC and with one wristband (from $25) you get 2 hours of unlimited rides!
From the bouncy castle to the Dream Swinger there is something for everyone! Be prepared to get dizzy as you spin, swing, bash and bounce your way through all the rides.
Mine are all old enough now to ride alone so I just got the spectator pass (from $7) and became the holder of water bottles, bags and prizes.
There are sideshow games for an additional price and food and showbags too.
If you need a break from riding there is also an arcade game area with pinball, basketball, car racing, air hockey and more.
Multiple 2 hour sessions each day running until 19th July.
Buy ahead of time as many sessions are sold out already and it’s cheaper online than the box office.

❄️ Last night we headed along to @racarena for @disneyonice ❄️

Over 50 of our fave Disney stars appeared on the ice including Lightning McQueen & Mater, Mirabel, Elsa and Anna, Buzz and Woody but the best was when Moana was singing and you could hear the crowd join in! Magical!!

The acrobatics, stunts, lighting and costumes were all amazing.

The first show today has already started but tickets are still on sale for the 2pm and 6pm shows through Ticketek. ⛸️

🦖School holidays are coming to an end which means the last few days of Jurassic Kingdom 🦖

We went back to @jurassickingdomperth for another visit during the day while the sun has been shining!

The big hits for the younger ones was definitely the hatchery with the baby dinosaurs and watching their art come to life at the aquarium.

Rides and activities for all ages, grab a feed from the food trucks then try and find all the dinosaurs on the map 🦕

SpongeBob SquarePants has come to @hawaiiansnoranda and he will be back again this Thursday from 11am-2pm.

You won’t find any Krabby patties here but there are plenty of yummy eats like Pauly’s Chicken and Ribs, Amherst sushi, Noranda Pizza, bubble tea, kebabs, açai and multiple coffee shops and bakeries.

There is also a cute little nook playground across from the Esprezzo entrance with a basket swing and water play plus the larger Robert Thompson Reserve playground across the road (great park to learn to ride).

Birthday dinner at @mcnallyssubiaco tonight! Rolling home after Sunday roast.

A gorgeous venue and lovely staff.

Hubby and I both had the Sunday roast, the kids had the spice bag, fish tacos and a kids chicken and chips and we shared sticky date pudding for dessert 😍

It was busy so make sure you book on the weekend.

Located on Rokeby Road in Subiaco.

@jurassickingdomperth is back on again!

I took the Tornado and his friends and they did not stop for 2 hours except to eat some @thebigslicewa pizza from the feeding zone.

The prehistoric excitement is on NOW and will run until Sunday 19 April with day and night sessions.

There are around 20 dinosaurs to find around the park making it the perfect place for dinosaur lovers.

Book ahead of time as many sessions are sold out already.
