🛝🌈✨ 1909 SUBI EAST PLAY SPACE | SUBIACO Want to be the only ones at the playground, even during school holidays?! 👀 Every single time we come here, we are literally the only ones here. You won’t find a quieter spot! And honestly, that makes this little gem one of my favourite places for a picnic, mum catch-up and letting the kids go wild without a million other kids around. 😂 The playground itself isn’t huge, but it packs SO much into the space, and the water play is seriously the star of the show! My kids played in that area for SO long! HIGHLIGHTS 💦 We LOVE the water play area 🌈 Brightly coloured, soft fall (no sand) 🪺 Swings including nests 🙊 Reminds me of a giant @funkymonkeybars playground 🧗 Modern climbing structures 🪢 Rope + climbing elements 💪🏽 If you have kids that love to climb, this is for you! ⚖️ Balance + agility equipment 👶🏼 Great for toddlers through to primary-aged kids 🌳 Lovely open green space (bring a ball) ☀️ Shaded play areas 🧺 Perfect picnic spot ☕️ Such a good mum hang spot (grab a coffee on way) 🔒 Open, spacious area around the playground WHY I LOVE IT ✨ It’s SO quiet every time we visit (only ones there!) 💦 The water play is a huge hit 🧺 Perfect for packing a picnic ☕️ Bring a coffee, meet a mum friend and actually have a chat 👧🏼 The kids have plenty to keep them busy without needing a huge playground 📍1909 Subi East Play Space, Subiaco If you’re looking for somewhere quiet these school holidays, SAVE THIS ONE. 🍸 PERTH’S NEWEST HIDDEN BAR JUST LANDED 👀 Okay Perth… I found your next “just one drink” that somehow turns into a whole night spot. Tucked away inside @crownperth is 42 by Don Julio a tiny, moody little tequila bar that feels like you’ve accidentally stumbled into somewhere you definitely weren’t supposed to find. Only 35 seats, low-lit interiors, cocktails that look far too pretty to drink and a menu made for ordering a few things and sharing. WHY I’M OBSESSED 🍸 Australia’s first permanent Don Julio 1942 bar 💕 You can't convince me that getting dressed up and tipsy in a dimly lit restaurant doesn't have healing powers 💋 Seriously moody, luxe interiors, perfect for date night / girls night / leave-the-kids-at-home energy 🌵 Cocktails centred around Don Julio 1942, plus plenty of other drinks if tequila isn’t your thing 🥃 You can do tasting flights if you want the full tequila experience this is paired with delicious tapas 🍴The food is made for grazing, think tuna tostadas, wagyu empanadas, truffle fries and the very extra 42 caviar experience 🎶 DJ with all the beats, the perfect mood 👀 LITTLE INSIDER TIP It’s tucked inside TWR at Crown Towers, so finding the place is so much fun. Keep an eye out for the gold signage towards the back of TWR and a secret little door! 🚪 I’d get there early if you’re keen to grab a seat! 📍 @crownperth

HIGHLIGHTS 🌊 You can do a short 1 hour cruise exploring Mandurah’s beautiful waterways (perfect if you’ve got little ones) 🐬 Spot wild bottlenose dolphins with guaranteed sightings 🎤 Learn about local marine life with live commentary 🚢 Explore the engine room, marine controls and captain’s steering wheel 🔭 Let the kids become the official dolphin spotters with giant binoculars 🧌We loved the 2.5-hour Giants & Dolphin Cruise, the kids love the Mandurah giants 👀 LITTLE MUM TIP 📸 Camera ready for those “MUM, I SEE ONE!” moments. 🍷🍝 HIDDEN RIVER ESTATE | PEMBERTON This is exactly how I want family holidays to look. Kids with plenty of space to run around, a glass of wine in hand, delicious food on the table and those gorgeous Pemberton views. @hiddenriverestatewinery was such a beautiful find and one I’d happily go back to again and again. WHY I’M OBSESSED
🍷 THE ONLY PLACE YOU CAN GET A GLASS OF PICARDY WINE and it’s our absolute favourite! IYKYK
🍴 We had the Hidden River Platter loaded with gourmet produce, beetroot chutney, kraut, pickles, caper berries, apricot mostarda, marinated olives, locally sourced meats and cheeses… and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD
🥩 We also had the beef cheeks and fish and both were absolutely to die for.
👧🏼 Proper kids meals including pasta bolognese or chicken and chips, with BIG portions! 
🛝 A play area for the kids with a slide, swings, tyres to jump across and a HUGE grassed area for them to run around.
🌿 Beautiful Pemberton countryside and those views that make you want to sit there all afternoon. 
🍄 They’ve JUST opened their new Truffle Cellar at the front of the store, stocked with truffle cheeses, butters and condiments. All made using truffles grown right there on the farm.

🧀🍷 HIGH CHEESE | THE ULTIMATE DATE NIGHT When you finally get a night out without the kids… Gladstones @crownperth is where you want to be. Think four tiers of cheese, charcuterie, sweet and savoury bites, a flaming Camembert and WA wines… all in the most intimate, moody and romantic setting. Honestly, this is date night done properly 💋 WHY I’M OBSESSED 🧀 A FOUR-TIER stand loaded with sweet and savoury goodness, basically the kind of dinner where you keep saying “okay, we’ll just try one more thing.” 🔥 The absolute showstopper is the Grand Marnier flambé Barossa Valley Camembert with caramelised apple, maple-glazed bacon & pecans. Watching this come out was a whole experience. 🍴The selection of cheeses with quince paste, pickles & muscatels, plus prosciutto & cream tartlets, coppa & olive, jalapeño cheese sticks with tomato chutney and caprese skewers. 🍰 And obviously we needed dessert, Basque cheesecake & passionfruit crème brûlée to finish. 🍷 MY PICK: Go for the four-wine WA tasting flight. Four different WA wines paired with the whole experience… honestly, what more could you want on a kid-free night? ✨ And the setting… Gladstones is intimate, moody and seriously chic. It feels like one of those places where you can actually sit down, slow down and have a proper conversation without someone asking for a snack every 4 minutes. 😂 👀 LITTLE DATE NIGHT TIP Make a whole night of it.
