Many of you know that Highwood is well known for our hand made Sgian Dubhs

But did you know that we also make them with a wooden blade?
For those occasions when you would prefer not to be carrying the real thing.

Of course, in the UK carrying a sgian dubh is perfectly legal as part of our national dress, but even so, some of our customers would prefer not to

And lets face it, the timber in these "blades" is so beautiful in its own right

Georgia is running two inspiring workshops at @westmossside, an arts and crafts meeting place on an organic farm, on the edge of @flandersmossnnr in Stirlingshire.

📅 Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October
⏰ 10am - 4.30pm
💷 £95 per person, per day

Day 1: Explore the process of paper making from foraged fibres, gathered from your garden or on a wilder walk.

Day 2: Discover ways to transform your handmade paper into beautiful vessels that hold a real sense of place and memory.

You can attend either day, or both, although Day 2 requires attendance on Day 1.
