@perverse4verse Presents…🩸DTLA After Dark: The Case of the Missing Poetry Domme 🔪 Enter the ⚡️Electrical Box Theater⚡️ for a night of queer poetry, drag, camp, noir, horror, and lust. Detective Gloria Whole is on the case, but between filthy confessions, unreliable witnesses, and suspiciously hot open micers, it’s hard to tell who’s investigating whom. Someone’s eating 🧠, someone’s eating 📦, and Poetry Domme Mommy is M.I.A. 👀 The case is cold. The mic is hot. What’s your confession? 🎤

Swipe for the details and head to their page to RSVP 👹

Omg! So surreal to have our festival featured, our organizer @literarypixie interviewed, the amazing @poetsarethenewpopstars performers @emelineisme and @alexhere.ok reading, our afterparty at @tabularasabar where we celebrated @allenginsbergofficial , our @shutupwrite, and our closing event led by @lifemovesthrough with @with.willa Meitav and @bobbycrosby writing at @lamagbarnsdall!

Thank you @_maddieconnors_ and @latimes for sharing about our festival and our goal to make the festival more diverse next year and make this a writers festival for everyone who is part of our neighborhood @losfeliznc !

Thanks for being called in by @laurita71983 who lead the panel on silencing of voices of color at our festival. We have work to do!

Thanks for everyone who came and played “Writers in Los Feliz” with us!!!

And thank you to @lamagbarnsdall and @losfeliznc and all of our community partners!!! So so grateful!!

I had a vision for my birthday- a festive hats themed party! Everyone was invited to either don their own hat or wear one of my felt fascinators! Oh my goddess it was the perfect night! My little heart was full of love and joy for everyone willing to get silly and playful! You all made my birthday wishes come true! Love you! This also involved Big Libra Energy balloon garland, a vegan spinach calzones baked by Becca shaped as witches hats and a pumpkin spice birthday cake assembled from Trader Joe’s goodies!

I wore my CatCon or Bust felt fascinator, a @jessicalouiseclothing sequin bolero, @bunnydee cat earrings, @uniquevintage cactus dress! by @perverse4verse

⚡️The call is coming from inside the box! ☎️⚡️

🩸A fetal red lip, a hex of REDRUM, a sus amount of tongue💄This 10/16, Detective Gloria Whole checks into the Electrical Box Theater, but doesn’t check out💀

The carpet is cursed, the baby poets are down bad, & the body count is piling up💀

The door creaks open. Sub 1 on his knees, rocking, spitting, repeating:

“Do crime. Look divine. Brains on the floor, box on the mind, the final girl gags on the mic”…🥵 taken in Arts District, Los Angeles by @perverse4verse

🩸DTLA after dark. bl00d on the pavement. I walk into the⚡️Electrical Box Theater⚡️& a baby poet is reading a filthy lil confession only 4 me.

🫆I’m Detective Gloria Whole, undercover, sweating through their set & wondering if I’m investigating them or being interrogated myself…

🎤Queer poetry, drag, camp, noir, horror, lust, subs.
Some1’s eating 🧠 & some1’s eating 📦. Every1’s sus. The witness is unreliable. Poetry Domme Mommy is M.I.A.👀
