Coming back to Vegas was bittersweet. Last month my Lolo suddenly passed away and his absence has really been difficult to deal with during my visit. The service was so memorable, it was nice seeing so many of our family and friends come together to see him one last time. I’m really honored to have been his oldest grandchild. My heart still has a big hole in it because I really do wish he was still with us. He had such a strong presence at home, he always kept the house filled with music and when I was younger he’d play guitar. I’ll miss teasing him because of his strong Filipino accent, his mannerisms, the way he would eat, the way he would move his mouth when he would play his black guitar, and his wheezy cough. You were always around for my 26 years, I’ll miss you for the rest of my life. Thank you for everything and showing me the importance of family. Love you Lolo, I will see you in heaven soon.

Today would be my first birthday completely away from my family. But my wife is all of the family I can ever ask for. Praise Jesus for 26 years! At least I still kind of look like I’m 18 though 😝

The wife and I are finally starting to get settled in our overseas move to the United Kingdom. After two months of constantly coordinating movers, house hunting, learning my new job, and finding a good routine, we can finally take a breather. Now all we have to worry about is this crazy heatwave. I’ve lived in Europe before, but something about the heat here is so bad. I also bought my first car which is dope. 🇬🇧
