Looking for beavers near Jasper? Add this to your list! 🦫🇨🇦

📍 Beaver Boardwalk, Hinton, Alberta

The Beaver Boardwalk winds for about 3 km through wetlands around Maxwell Lake, with floating boardwalks, lookout spots and plenty of opportunities to spot beavers. 🦫👀

If you’re hoping to see them, early morning or evening during the warmer months is your best bet when they’re more active. Sightings aren’t guaranteed… but we got lucky! 🥹🦫❤️

And of course, Pogo came too—it’s dog-friendly! 🐾

📍 149 Reimer Drive, Hinton, Alberta

Pogo loved exploring this unique little piece of Alberta! 🏔️🐾❤️

Off the highways and onto the trails! 🏍️🌲🇨🇦
An amazing ATV adventure with my little co-pilot, Pogo! 🐾❤️

We took the ATV out for an adventure near home at Katepwa Lake, in the beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley, and of course, Pogo had to come along! 🐶❤️

The best part? Getting out in nature, enjoying the beautiful views, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings along the way. 🌲💚🏞️

The Katepwa area is connected to a network of trails through the valley, including the District of Katepwa Trail, which connects toward Katepwa Point Provincial Park and other nearby trail areas. 🌲🌊 The Trans Canada Trail also has routes through the Katepwa area.

For ATV riders, Saskatchewan has designated areas and rights-of-way where off-road riding is permitted. ATVs can only travel on the travelled portion of a road when specifically authorized by SGI or a local bylaw, so always check the local rules before heading out. 🏍️

Would you try an ATV adventure here? 👀🏍️

Sometimes, all you need is a peaceful trail, a beautiful view, and your favourite adventure buddy by your side. 🐾

📍 Elbow Falls, Kananaskis Country, Alberta 🇨🇦
It’s approximately a 45–60 minute drive from Calgary, depending on your starting point. 🚗
