It wasn’t the forecast a bride dreams of. In fact, it was pretty much the opposite. But the end result was exactly the same: a marriage between two people who are madly in love, surrounded by the people they love most.

Because at the end of the day, that’s what this was always about. 🤍

I am not much of a sharer of personal things on social media. However, this is the easiest way for me to reach out to the most people and to hopefully not forget anyone that my mom was important to. Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of her death. My father strongly believed in the power of collective prayer, whatever that form of spirituality looks like to you. In that light, our family is having a moment of silence to reflect on how we are carrying her spirit forward into this world. We are doing this at 8 am or as close to that time as we can. There is a mass for her on Nantucket starting at 7:30 am which is why we picked that time. I personally am sandwiching my moment with the tunes of Dolly Parton and it brings me great joy thinking they may be colluding together now for the benefit of humanity. If you were close to mom and want to join us to remember her please do, you are all invited! If she was for anything at all, it was love and community 💕 by @petalsonpine

A first look surrounded by the most perfect spring tulips kicking us into the weekend. From sunny and 80° back to 55° and freezing is so classic New England. Time to switch coasts? 🥴

Our sweet Callie Jo and Matt attended her senior prom tonight. ✨
As a class officer, Callie Jo helped plan the entire evening, which made this prom season extra special… and at times a little stressful too.
Her wrist corsage and Matt’s boutonnière were beautifully made by our friend Nora @petalsonpine and Matt’s suit came from @mr_perrys_tux
But perhaps the most special part of all was Callie Jo’s dress. It was custom designed by the incredibly talented Rose Bancroft @rose_arttttt a former @barnstablepublicschools student now attending Fashion Institute of Technology and studying abroad in Italy.
Callie Jo and Rose designed the dress together, we shopped for fabric over Christmas break, and Rose created it before returning to Italy in January. It meant the world to Callie Jo to wear something made with so much love, creativity, and intention.
She looked absolutely lovely tonight. 🤍

Thank you @beacongardens for the perfect backdrop. taken in Beacon Gardens by @petalsonpine

It was so hard to edit this down to a grid of 20, even when I put more than one portrait in the picture.

The best day, the best vibes.

Some moments don’t ask for attention.
They ask to be felt.

The quiet ones are always the most powerful.
