Don't just take SPIN's word for it. @magnetmagazine lists Fade Away Blue as one of the best singer-songwriter albums of 2025.

Thanks @hobartrowland.

FADE AWAY BLUE TURNS ONE TODAY. Just yesterday I awoke to the following in my inbox.

“Today your song brought me to tears of joy listening to ‘You Called Me Kid.’ Such a deep-hearted song. So many that get to hear your tribute to the love your family had and has for you will be touched. Your song touches the deepest feelings of love.”

This means more to me than any sales report or royalty check ever could.

I’m as inspired as ever to keep making—and releasing—music. The songs have piled up, and work is underway on the follow-up to Fade Away Blue. I’m chipping away slowly but slowly, as I like to say.

Peace & Love Songs,

Pete

I’m looking forward to my set Friday night (7/24 at 6pm) at the Peace Love and Union Saltwater Songwriters Festival. The festival runs from Tuesday to Sunday in Union, WA, on the shores of Hood Canal on the Olympic Peninsula and will feature a stellar lineup of songwriters including Kim Richey, Mary Gauthier & Jaimee Harris, Dan Navarro, Charlie Mars, Matraca Berg & Jeff Hanna, David Wilcox, and many more.

My trusty sidelick, the amazing @theelainesummers , will be sporting her new ukulele. The set list is set. While I love sinking my teeth into the oldies, I’m super excited to play tunes from Fade Away Blue and a few of the new songs that we’ll be cutting for its follow-up.

@vashoncenter just announced its 26/27 season. I’m playing the stunning venue on 3/20/27. Until then, my only gig is on July 24 at the @peace_love_union_songwriters Festival in Union, WA.
