We The People will defeat the fascists at the polls — and in the streets if necessary.

America is worth fighting for. Not some flag-waving idea of it. The real thing. The people. The freedom to speak, to stand up, to be who you are without fear.

I know fear. I live with panic that feels infinite and eternal. And I'm done letting fear run me. I'm turning it into power — into showing up, into speaking, into voting, into standing for all people.

If you're scared too, you're not alone. And you're not powerless.

He was fun — the kind of fun that turned an ordinary day into an adventure. Mountains, snow, the next run, the next wild idea. He was loyal in the way that counts most: whenever I needed rescuing, he was already there. No hesitation, no questions.

He was a phenomenal teacher. Not just to me — to thousands of people whose lives he shaped, steadied, and lifted. His lessons didn't end when the lesson ended. They're still working in people today.

We lost him too soon, and I miss him every single day. But what he taught me — to be brave, to be loyal, to show up for ALL people — that's still here. That's him, still living through me.

I love you, Dad. Thank you for being my best friend forever, Dean Randall by @peterandall4all
