WOW. All I can say is THANK YOU.

We hosted our first ever CRVs and COFFEE in LA and had an AMAZING turnout.

30 cars, over 60 people, and 100 of thousands of MILES driven.

So many incredible stories, people, and CRVs.

Shout out to Joe with the farthest traveled paper plate award. All the way from PHOENIX, AZ.

Blown away by this community.

I am running THE NEW YORK CITY MARATHON with @apexforyouth this Fall!

My parents grew up in poverty in the Philippines and worked endlessly to become doctors in the United States.

This November 1st, I’m running the NYC Marathon for Apex for Youth, an incredible organization supporting Asian American youth from low-income and immigrant backgrounds in New York City. Kids who remind me so much of where my parents started.

Right now in NYC:
* 1 in 2 Asian American youth live in or near poverty.
* 75%+ feel less safe than before the pandemic.
* Asian Americans are the least likely of any group to seek mental health services.

Apex for Youth is changing that narrative by building a world without limits for these kids, empowering them to unlock their potential today and a world of possibility tomorrow.

As I get older, I realize more and more how massive my parents’ sacrifice truly was: leaving everything and everyone they knew for an uncertain future. I’m standing on the shoulders of giants, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.

I am my ancestors’ dream. Help me help other Asian immigrants realize theirs.

The Tables that Bring Us Together - Kauai, Hawaii Edition

Saw a Honda CRV during my time in Kauai and had to ask if they still had the table in it!!

It was awesome meeting you!

Update:

Life has been so busy, but so good. I am still planning Chapter 3 in San Diego and MERCH is ordered and on the way. Keep on the lookout for an email from me!

It has been awesome seeing all the CRV meet ups across the country. Love this community and this car ❤️

ANNUAL KAUAI TRADITION: The Flipper Race 🤿

Competitors: grown adults + one nephew (Colton) (we’ve been friends for 2 decades)
Conditions: uneven sand, zero traction, maximum wind resistance.
Stakes: bragging rights till the next race.

Every time we come back to Kauai, this race happens. It doesn’t matter how old we get or how serious real life gets back home; the moment the fins go on, it’s strictly business.

Watch till the end. We had to take this to VAR because it was an incredible photo finish. I think I definitely beat @chason_mambers
