I remember as a kid in the mid 90's when the Patriot's cut their starting kicker Matt Bahr in training camp for a rookie named Adam Vinatieri.

Matt Bahr had previously hit the Patriots record for longest field goal at 55 yards and had won Super Bowl's with the Giants and Steelers (a fact that blew my mind while reading the program....1979 seemed like FOREVER ago to a kid in the early to mid 90's).

I was pissed. They cut Matt Bahr for this guy? He even missed an extra point in a pre-season game! Bill Parcells must've lost his mind.

Many years later, I want to admit I was wrong as a child. Adam Vinatieri is the greatest kicker of all time.

I still love Matt Bahr and would tell him if I ever got the chance to meet him. by @peterczymbor

It was great spending some time with former IBF Lightweight World Champion Paul Spadafora over the weekend who is becoming an excellent trainer working with the likes of undefeated welterweight Yoel Angeloni (8-0, 5 KO's) who fought on the Boston Boxing Promotions card Friday night in Billerica. by @peterczymbor
