Happy World Opera Day! 🎭😩

There’s no better way to celebrate than singing our first rehearsal with orchestra tonight for Puccini’s Tosca with Wichita Grand Opera!

I feel incredibly lucky to get to do what I love for a living, and nights like these are a good reminder of why. There’s really nowhere I’m happier than in a rehearsal room, making music and creating characters with a great group of people.

Looking forward to bringing this production to life next weekend! 🎶

A few shots from the room run for Puccini’s Tosca with Wichita Grand Opera! It’s been such a pleasure working with Whitney Reader at the podium, and Grant Preisser’s direction has been fantastic. Add an amazing cast and the wonderful WGO chorus, and we’re in for something special. Looking forward to bringing this production to life for audiences next weekend! 😩🎶

Life announcement: After Christmas, I’ll be making my way back to Philadelphia! ❤️

I’m incredibly grateful for my time in Chicago, for the friends I’ve made, and the experiences I’ve had. This city has been an important chapter in my life, both personally and professionally, and I’m thankful for everything it’s given me.

Before I head east, I’d love to see as many of my Chicago friends as possible. Let’s get together, grab a drink, and catch up before the next chapter begins. ❤️

Chicago, thank you for everything. Philly, I’ll see you in 2027! by @peterdrackleytenor

I’m very excited about what’s ahead this season!
After stepping in to sing rehearsals and cover Calaf in Turandot with Atlanta Opera, I’m heading to my house debut with Wichita Grand Opera to jump in as Cavaradossi in Tosca. I’ll also be making my house debut with Fort Worth Opera as Scalia in Scalia/Ginsburg, and traveling to Lithuania for the first time to perform as tenor soloist in an evening of Christopher Tin’s music with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra.
Grateful for the opportunities, proud of the progress, and looking forward to a busy season ahead! by @peterdrackleytenor
