I love stumbling across these kinds of scenes when I'm just walking around. They're totally unposed and real, honestly a bit rough around the edges, but that's exactly what makes them worth noticing 📸

That's what gets me about street photography, I think. You head out with your camera and genuinely have no idea what you'll find.

Maybe the light hits a building just right, or someone makes this fleeting gesture that says everything, or you catch a look between strangers. Sometimes it's the most mundane stuff that stops you in your tracks 😇 taken in Warsaw, Poland by @peterfox.photography

Sometimes I find myself drawn to the strangest things. Little details that might mean nothing to anyone else, but somehow make me stop and reach for my camera 📸

I guess that’s what I love about street photography, finding something in the ordinary, even when I can’t really explain what caught my eye.

Do you ever feel the same? 📷 taken in Warsaw, Poland by @peterfox.photography

Are we forgetting the beauty of ordinary life? 📸

Not every photo needs perfect light, beautiful colours or hours of editing. Sometimes, the best moments are the ones we almost miss.

That’s what I love about street photography. It’s real, imperfect, and unpredictable. Just life happening in front of us.

I hope we never stop noticing the little things 🤍 by @peterfox.photography

Sometimes I feel like street photography is slowly disappearing. And I don't mean because everyone has a phone these days and can take pictures.

I think it's more about the fact that, on social media, we seem to be drawn mostly to beautiful, colourful, carefully edited photographs. Images that someone might spend hours working on, even though taking the actual photo only took a fraction of a second.

Street photography is a little different. It's not always perfect, and it's not always beautiful in the traditional sense of the word. Sometimes it's just an ordinary situation, an interesting moment, or something that happened completely by chance.

And that's what I love about it. You don't have to spend hours editing a photo for it to have value. Sometimes all you need is to be in the right place at the right time and notice something that everyone else has missed.

It's a little sad that, more and more often, what matters most is how a photograph looks rather than what it shows.

I don't know what street photography will look like in a few years. I just hope there will still be room for it. Because ordinary life, just as it is, deserves to be photographed too.

A second look at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw 📸

I couldn’t fit all the frames into one carousel, so here’s another selection from the same place 🔴

Hope you enjoy this one as much as the first 📷 taken in Warszawa by @peterfox.photography

It’s been a while since I last shot something this minimalistic, but I’m really happy with how these images turned out 📸

For the first time since the opening of the @msnwarszawa, I finally stepped inside with my camera. I wanted to explore the space through my own perspective, focusing on shapes, lines, light, and the relationship between architecture and space.

Here’s what I came away with. Sometimes, less really is more 📸 taken in Warszawa by @peterfox.photography

More moments from today’s march in Warsaw for Palestine 🇵🇸

Every voice, every flag, every step matters. We came together because silence is not an option when people are being killed.

For Palestine. For every life lost. For every family still waiting for peace ✊️ taken in Warszawa by @peterfox.photography

🇵🇸 WARSAW, WE SHOWED UP

For the thousands of lives lost. For the children who will never grow up. For the families torn apart. For the people who continue to endure occupation, displacement, and unimaginable suffering.

1,100 days. Over 73,000 Palestinians killed, including more than 20,000 children.

Behind every number is a human life, a family, and a story that deserves to be remembered.

The best street photographs are the ones that capture something that can’t be planned or repeated 📸

Reality.

Saw this on my way through the city and the contrast just felt too good to ignore. Nothing staged. Just one of those moments where the city says more than the ad does. taken in Warsaw, Poland by @peterfox.photography

Only one photo today 📸

I’ve always been fascinated by little details, the unusual ones, the ordinary ones, the ones most people walk past. There’s something beautiful hiding in them.

I just wish I knew exactly what. taken in Warsaw, Poland by @peterfox.photography

Lately, the streets have been getting quieter in colour: more grey, more brown, less of everything else. The season is slowly taking over 🥲

So today, a little change of pace. More yellow, green and red. Flowers, painted walls, small details and all the bits of colour that still catch my eye while walking around the city 📸
