I’ve had to bite my tongue about this for a while now but finally it’s no longer a secret. Very proud to have played a part as a 2nd engineer on some of the recording of the score for “Avatar - The Way of Water” The team on a production like this is enormous and the list of uncredited helpers is probably at least as long as the list of official credits. But to play a small part in something of this size is still humbling and exciting. Multiple sessions doing choral recording, solo vocalists, probably close to 100 different ethnic wind instruments as well as wind synthesizers (yeah, that’s a thing apparently) later and it’s finally out. Thank you to everyone involved and for trusting me with the process. @villagestudios by @peterhanaman
Closing day at the Maverick. An earth day gift to get a swell like this in late April! Who would have guessed. After a winter of injury and bad waves redemption was on the menu this weekend. Glad to see everyone get thru the day safe and sound and really psyched to be on a couple nuggets myself. Thanks as always to those who support this nuts endeavor. Sorry mom, love you. 📸: @audrey_lambidakis by @peterhanaman

They’re out of zyns again but at least this song is out too Always such a pleasure making music with one of my favorite artists and people @coreyharper and making new friends with such incredible talents like @samwesthoff_ and @nina.dv ! thank you both for your invaluable ideas and contributions to this song. Thank you as always to the legend that is @jordonsilvamix - you always bring the best out of whatever we throw your way. This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever worked on and I’m so proud it is finally out. Go streamstreamstreamstream!!! 📸: @kliboska magician behind the lens by @peterhanaman

A week in Sunriver OR with @coreyharper Wrote some songs, missed some fairways, rode some motorcycle golf carts, met some cows, petted some dogs, and ate some food. Really excited about the music we have on the way! by @peterhanaman
This one feels extra special. In January Corey took me on tour with a couple other really special fellas and we got to play ‘Honey’ every night around the country and see it connect to so many people. By the end of that tour, crowds in cities where we didn’t even know people were singing along word for word despite it not even being released yet. Honey officially came out on Friday April 5 and I couldn’t be more proud to say I produced and played some bass on it (first string arrangement too - that’s fun). I hope you all love this track as much as we love it. I want to always thank the dream team for having me along and for their contributions: @coreyharper on basically everything @_nickhodges on pedal steel @drumbyrd on drums @jordonsilvamix on the mix @chrisgehringer with the master @jordydettmer for moving mountains for us by @peterhanaman
Two more @coreyharper songs - ‘Learn To Live Without You’ and ‘Better Than Anything’ out now! Thank you, @coreyharper for trusting me to bring these songs into the world with you, @drumbyrd for breathing so much life into these tunes, and @jordonsilvamix and @chrisgehringer for making these tracks sound as good as they deserve to. Tour starts in 2 days!!! See you all on the road soon! by @peterhanaman
A bit late on this but really honored to have worked on the score for Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon. It’s always awesome to share these credits with friends and coworkers but this being one of Robbie Robertson’s final projects before his passing makes it extra special. Thanks to everyone involved! by @peterhanaman
