Lad and Dad 😍 by @peterhuntcasting

These photos probably just look like ordinary family moments.

And that’s exactly the point.

Adoption isn’t about being a perfect parent or creating some picture-perfect version of family life. It’s about showing up, through the routines, the laughs, the hard days, the little wins and all the everyday moments in between.

For us, those ordinary moments are where our family has really been built. ❤️

This National Adoption Week, we’re supporting the message behind this year’s @you.can.adopt campaign: Every Day is Everything.

Right now, 3,010 children in England need a permanent family through adoption, with only 1,400 approved adopters available. Children are waiting an average of 646 days for that permanence.

I get alot of DM’s asking about adoption. So if adoption is something you’ve ever thought about, have a look at @you.can.adopt and @adoptionmattersuk

Every day really is everything. ❤️

Little man was absolutely in his element — animals, exploring, getting to head back into the zoo after hours and, of course, a new teddy! Safe to say he was very happy! by @peterhuntcasting

10 years married. 23 years together. Still here. Still us. Still do! ❤️ by @peterhuntcasting

Tonight in Ibiza we watched as the sky went dark, apparently one of the best places in the world to see it!

The last time this happened, Andrew and I were 15. And little man wasn’t even a twinkle in the sky! 27 years. Somehow gone in a blink.

So much has changed. People have come into our lives, some we thought would always be here no longer are, and somehow our little family found its way to here, right now.

Tonight I’m thinking about all of that. Those we wish were beside us, those who would give anything for one more moment with someone they love, and just how lucky we are to have those who are here. Time really does fly.

And now, post a very late bedtime, we’re sitting here watching shooting stars across the Ibiza sky. Not a bad reminder to stop every now and then and just look up. ❤️ by @peterhuntcasting
