‘better at this’ is out now 🦌🫧🩵 infinite thank-yous to all the angels who helped get it BORN:

@guitboxnash — adam engineered, played on, and produced this song in its entirety. the 1 million guitars layered over mine + the sexy bass lines + synth pads are all his. it was an entirely different feel before all his production magic, and i am so in love with how it turned out. and with him!!!!!

@tobiastronaut — drummer extraordinaire <3
he’s known this tune since it was an infant, so it was only right that he be its rhythmic godfather!! so happy you were able to be a part of its immortalization, tobias! :,)

@peterjgeiser — peter mixed, mastered, and engineered my vocals for this tune! thank you for making me feel so comfortable doing something as vulnerable as recording vocals, and thank you for your mixing and mastering magic, peter! <3

@lycialang — alycia and i have been working together on the distribution side of things, collaborating to kickstart her co-op model label, @sisterfigurerecords! so happy to be a part of sister figure, and can’t wait to see how it evolves :,) thank you for all your help and hard work, alycia <3

@rj.cr — it was such a special treat to be able to shoot with rebecca while i was visiting my family back in oklahoma. she is a powerhouse full of infinitely good ideas and she freaking nailed the cover art i’d envisioned. thank you for your art, rebecca <3

@grundymatt — for letting us use your studio out in the desert for FREE out of the goodness of your heart! couldn’t have done it without ya and your amazing space!

AND LASTLY, TO YOU, HUMAN READING THIS 🪞

you’ve supported an artist with zero music out up until this point! u have proven The Man wrong ! And this is just the beginning!! there are so many more songs to come!!! so thank you for being here from the start 🩵

ALL THE LOVE POSSIBLE ONE COULD IMBUE INTO AN INSTAGRAM POST,
jonie
