𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗜𝗢: 𝗞𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗢 𝗯𝟮𝗯 𝗗𝗣
Keighto and DP are two beat-goblins who will be bringing their wobble wizardry to the Flightless Frequencies dance floor next Friday.

Kate gave us some answers to our burning questions on behalf of the duo..

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗝 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀?
My nickname has always been kato or kato potato or hate kamill, but since k80 and kato were taken on instagram/soundcloud/bandcamp I decided to just spell out “eight” in between K and 0 so there we go. DP is Daniels nickname and initials since forever and easy easy.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗝𝗶𝗻𝗴?
I got into DJing from all my friends DJing and my love for DNB at the time, as soon as I started DJing though I saw Flava D play a bass house bassline and UKG set at NB and that’s when I knew that’s what I wanted to learn the most to mix so UKG became my bread and butter for years 🧈

𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗝 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?
Favourite DJ moment for DP and me was closing the @kauri_quakes stage on the @pdc.sound.system at 4am post lightning storm in 2025 ♥️. For myself it was playing at Northern Bass this year.

Returned from our little trip away 20 days nearly in the van and couldn’t have been more happy. Saw some of our favourite humans and meet some more awesome humans, saw some insane sunsets and visited locations where I was reminded that NZ is genuinely the best place in the world. Couldn’t be more grateful to call this place home or proud of how beautiful this country is, can’t wait to do it all again already 🌼 taken in Land Of The Long White Cloud by @keighto_

Got the call up from our good mate @lerm_werld to play for Wash Werld round #2 this Friday, gonna be playing some experimental tunes with the other half @peterkendaniel If you have yet to attend a Lerm Werld event then this one is one to come to, 2 stages, dopest line up and best vibes with best crowd.
