Cabernet Sauvignon

Silk-rayon floral-burnout chiffon dress with a silk satin lining. Patterned by me. Sewn by me including French seams for both the shell and lining, hand sewn rayon interfacing, and a hand sewn invisible zipper.

Styled by me using louboutins curtesy of @charlikestarr and @studiocache.kzoo, Alano’s fur coat, satin gloves, and a rayon blue floral scarf lined with silk, sewn by me.

“THE ROSE” 🥀
My first runway for MODA!
Dress and headpiece entirely sewn by me. Outfit styled by me.

Inspired by roses and John Galliano’s Dior headpieces, based on the theme “Midsummer Muse.” I dyed and hand sewed crinoline fabric and tulle onto a headband I painted to create a deep green fascinator. I then sewed a white dress to compliment it. This was styled with white gloves, thrifted red shoes, and a draped red cape from Spirit Halloween that was sewn onto the dress.

Thank you so much to my model, Mikaylah Gardner, for bringing this piece to life and being wonderful to work with, for the MODA team for creating a wonderful creative outlet and community, and photographers Libby Stefanich and Liliana Rolfs for beautifully capturing my design.
