A cultural stop to the Stanford House in Sacramento. Yes those Stanford's. He bought it while running for governor and the couple had one son who died at 16 of Typhoid while travelling in Europe with his parents celebrating his admission to Harvard. The couple spent lots of time improving and expanding the house and then built an even larger house in San Francisco. This became their second home. Mr Stanford moved on to become a railroad tycoon and businessman. The house spent many years as an orphanage with the last resident leaving in 1988. Many who grew up still bring their descendents. The modern city grew up around it but it remains a museum and a place for the governor to host dignitaries. If you have read this far you might be a nerd.🤪 taken in Leland Stanford Mansion State Historic Park by @peteroflaherty1

Made it to see a few songs of Ladrones.
They sound awesome live. This under the freeway stage has the best sound IMHO.

#FunklePete in the house at Aftershock. One 2X and one small shirts for the first person to ask for each. Orange hat today. Happy hunting!

I will also have stickers and wristbands each day until they run out. Come say hi.

Working third shift makes it hard to get to all these noon games. But since I left and came back to work I'm the new guy. The new guy gets the harder walking job. But it comes with Friday Saturday off. So I can now make it to a few games when I can scare up a ticket. Go bucks! taken in Ohio Stadium by @peteroflaherty1
