On this morning 21 years ago, my family suffered an immeasurable loss when Abigail Robin Peters succumbed to an aneurysm. Abby was the little sister who loved greatly. I think I can still imagine the sound of her vocal fry as she sang church songs all day in our home. How she'd sprawl across the whole couch with her little body when she'd read. That she knew it was her job to hold the rabbit ears just right so the rest of us could watch television with no static.

Thank you, Emily, for gifting me these beautiful memories. Thank you, family, who found a way to come together when we were being torn apart. Thank you, friends, for pouring love into me these many years.
