In ‘25 I learned a lot about myself but most importantly that I am nothing without Jesus. I started out this year trying to do things my way, with how I was living life. I found that it doesn’t work very well… at all. 2/3 of the way through the year I was doing some self reflection and realizing that I was not the person I wanted to be. There needed to be a drastic change in the way I was living. I needed to take God seriously, I wasn’t giving him room in my life outside of Sundays. So as soon as that realization came I asked some friends to go to church with me and then shortly after we started going to salt company and got in a connection group bible study and then went to fall retreat and there I found myself in full tears during a sermon in Luke 19 about Zacchaeus, a chief tax collector. He was a wealthy man who had made his money off of the poor and was despised by society. He was a short man and Jesus had come into town and a crowd gathered, he so desperately wanted to to see Jesus that he climbed a tree “When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly. All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.” But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.” Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭19‬:‭5‬-‭10‬ ‭
I am Zacchaeus. I am a sinner. I was lost. I have been saved.
During that message was the first time I truly felt the love, grace, and mercy of the Lord it was soo overwhelming that I was brought to tears, because in that moment I realized that every single sin I’ve ever committed has been forgiven my debts are paid and God loves Me. That is a lot to accept all at once, even though I’ve heard that my whole life. I felt it now, and I hope you can too someday if you haven’t already because it is life changing. by @petersenjay18

Last night was incredible, the most moving experience I've ever been a part of. I'll never forget the power in that room with 10,000 of my brothers and sisters worshipping our Lord. There's a revival happening in front of our eyes! taken in Casey's Center by @petersenjay18
