I know they are more than one drawings in here(i loved drawing this character -I really wanted to to him justice and I just couldn’t stop) but you can just take the first one as the submission :)
I think it turned out quite well and I am actually really proud of myself. Though wrist notably payed a penalty…

Mind that I don’t know the backstory so it’s possible that I drew them in a very non canon way… I tried my best :) by @petersillien

@ma.reine.adrienne - I took a safe song choice… It’s very good though and I feel like it suits the odd atmosphere of this piece.

Go and follow her! Especially if you like vintage and antique things. I find that She looks exceptionally beautiful in 1920s things. Plus she is very nice, welcoming and intelligent.
She told me that she, understandably so, really likes Peter Lorre so I drew her with his head ( musical where where is is headless).
Additionally Lorre’s wife seems to be related to her (WHICH IS SO COOL OMG) and they were together during the time this musical was performed. At least to my understanding.

I find that she has this soft glowing sort of look like Marilyn Monroe or Marlene Dietrich (💗💗💗) have in their movies. I think it’s due to the baby hairs and they look sooooo pretty ohmygod. (Artistic appreciation. I am not being weird OKAY)
I didn’t manage to do them justice LMAO

Also, Peter Lorre is SO HARD to draw. The likeness is impossible to capture ughhh. His eyes are so unique and it was really difficult to find decent images of this angle for some reason.
So you’ll have to settle with this. Sorry

I am quite proud of this piece. I won’t even be modest. I love the lighting and the colours. Even though this may not be me at my most creative, it definitely stands out technique wise from my other art.

Perhaps I simply wasn’t impatient for once.

I might make more drawings of vintage or antique creators soon. Perhaps after art fight :)

This drawing will probably hang in the Berlin “Mach MIK” exhibit. Idk yet when or where. I’ll specify later lmao.

This suffragette /suffrage drawing took me around 6 hours but the time I worked on it from start to finish was about two whole months.
Procrastination ❤️

If you look closely, you’ll see a faint wound on her eye. With this I wanted to highlight, that many of the suffrage women were harmed in ways,intended not to be visible. Many were arrested and later on protested within prison(and as a quick way to be released) by stopping to eat. After this became a major “issue” for the prisons, they started to force feed suffrages/gettes with a tube leading into their stomach. Some who resisted by closing their mouth were even fed through the nose.
This naturally led to many women having permanent damage to their body due to this horrid method. As I can recall this measure caused death too.
I think there was a lot of other shady thing going on there but I am not a historian. I fear that I might spread misinformation.
Take this with a grain of salt.

I want to highlight, that even though it might be difficult to fight for equal rights and human dignity, that a difference can be made that will change the lives of many generations to come. Just as the suffrage movement did.
And the situation may seem unchangable and one may feel powerless but often times, one underestimates their own abilities to cause change. Without acting, things will remain as they did and maybe even push towards something cruel; hatred for the thing you may stand for or perhaps even are. One needs to fight and defend equal rights. “Now” is better than “too late”

If you want to look at the final result more detailed, take a look at the post I will make soon too. There shall be the correct versions and in spots all in one place. Here in the end result, the bruise is barely visible. After editing I realised I accidentally disabled the layer where the faint bruise was on… oops by @petersillien

I saw other artists do this and wanted to try it myself. I like this format because I feel that it give me a chance to post some more stuff without feeling guilt about the lack in quality :)

This was originally just an anatomy practice but I can’t stop myself from going overboard. I like how absurd this setting is. Even I wonder why she is there and why she runs with a burning suitcase through the woods with her business clothes on.
Whilst drawing this I listened to an audiobook called „fingersmith“ which was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. I love it so far!!
I hope you like this drawing of mine and I’d like to hear what how your mind re-contextualizes this odd setting. Please do tell in the comments!
Oh and I felt like this song choice would be good because lynch also experiments a lot with weird settings worlds and people. I love twin peaks and mullholland drive though I still have a lot of his films left to watch (I actually didn’t yet watch fire walk with me because I feel that I am not mentally prepared for it lol.) by @petersillien

Art trade with the phenomenal @miaheadz ! Go and check them out! They also made a great piece of art for me! Tom is such a sweety. I really didn’t know what song to pick so I just chose this one because it’s a vibe.
I hope one can understand what is going on in this comic lol.
Also! This character is on their art fight so perhaps you wish to attack them muahahaha!!!
I gave Thomas a really tiny car because he wants to seem cool and chill but his body is not exactly reflecting this due to his height and size. I love him sm. it’s a really relatable character that feels really fleshed out! :D

Trigger warning: romantic era Butt Cheeks
I’ll be posting more about her and her lover. One of my past drawings with the guy in the top hat is her lover. I’ll drop the lore on another occasion!
The story will drag out into the late Victorian era hihihihi (my fave era btw. I just love the puffy leg-o-mutton sleeves(the only name for them ahem)
My hand has been getting better again. I can do stuff without pain Wohoo!
