Some incredibly interesting par4’s on the back nine. The front nine at Royal Aberdeen was also memorable. I had to wear a coat and tie to be admitted for lunch at Aberdeen. No problem :) -carried it all the way around the world entirely for that exact lunch. by @petersonvanrooy

I was fortunate to visit the exact place the Buddha first taught in Sarnath , India, more than 2,5000 years ago. The location was marked with a pillar by King Ashoka and a fully enlightened monk a few hundred years later. Much more important than golf…. by @petersonvanrooy

Retrieving the dear wife’s ball from a burn at Cruden Bay Golf Club . The retired Manager very sweetly walked around with us. We were met with warm hospitality everywhere in Scotland-Royal Aberdeen did require a tie and Suit to eat, which I had come prepared with! The Mackenzie tartan was apparently not so ideal! by @petersonvanrooy
