9 days is a bit of a lie, we each had to skip separate days thanks to some prayer at the porcelain throne.

Other than that, feeling incredibly grateful to have @willson_moore_ as a friend and running partner and legs that mostly held up. Swiss Alps are nutso. Swiss Franc sure knows how to put a hole in your pocket too. Gotta spend money to make money, right? by @peterwolter

Looking forward to setting the marathon world record for guys named Peter from Sun Valley born in September 1998 this fall in NYC. Please consider donating to my fundraiser for @dare2tri_, a charity that helps supports athletes with impairments to get out there and chase type 2 fun just like you and me! You don’t have favorite places or moments, you have favorite people that make those places or moments your favorite.

Lucky that the @communityschool class of 2026 trusted an unemployed 27yr old enough to send them off into the “real world”. by @peterwolter

There are a range of things you feel when you lose someone, but when most people pass away we feel like we didn’t capitalize on the time you had with them, or feel guilty that we didn’t recognize their greatness when they were still with us. I can’t say that with G. While it might be cliché to say, I knew what an amazing human she was since day 1, at least I think I did, but by day 3, I knew I did. In this age, it’s so easy to take so much for granted, I did not take Guro Jordheim for granted. Although she is gone now, I’m able to find some relief in all of this chaos knowing that there wasn’t a moment I had with G that I didn’t savor. I got the best of Guro and I knew it the whole time. G, I hope there are endless groomed trails, perfect powder, a good supply of water colors, and free Morgan Wallen concerts wherever you are now.❤️ by @peterwolter

I’d like to dedicate this post to the many who put me in the position to achieve such a successful week in Italy.

Thank you @jakeadicoff for trusting Reid and me to help you achieve this 4 year goal. I had high expectations for the week and they were blown out of the water.

Thank you to the Team USA organizing committee, the phenomenal wax techs, the med staff, and everyone who kept the train on the tracks in the background.

Thank you to the @teamusa fan section, you showed out in force, there was no mistaking who was skiing through the stadium with you in the stands.

Thank you to my family. Your support this week and every week of my life has not gone unnoticed.

To all my friends who were there in Italy or reached out during the week. Thank you. I feel so lucky that you still pretend to like me.

Thank you to the @usparanordicski team for being such fun people to spend time with and for letting me join the party. My gratitude is endless ❤️ taken in Val di Fiemme by @peterwolter
