I fix things, mostly motorcycles and electrical stuff. I’m a maker, a problem solver that also builds and nurtures communities. Fuck AI. Be authentic.

The truth is that I almost enjoy building these as much as I like to ride them. If you know me, I have many ideas rolling around in my head and almost enough parts to build another one, so that’s what I’m gonna do. So,

Lowbrow Customs chain drive conversion. Professionally TIG welded and powdercoated, (navy blue).
Lowbrow Customs oil tank, rear fender, Wassel peanut tank (prism brass petcock)

Bisbee, AZ never disappoints. I took out a few moments to shoot some pictures around town in between event setup and the event itself for Ride To The Warehouse. Btw, Bisbee is one of the few places where you can setup to photograph an old building and the chances of a vintage truck driving by are pretty high. Photography has become a great way to escape the fast pace of life. Manual modes, focus and vintage lenses are my opportunity to slow down compose and craft. Enjoy!

𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗦. 🖤

We travel a lot with @ridetothewarehouse — chasing stories, building community, making a little Majik along the way.

But there’s something pretty damn good about coming home and connecting with our San Diego peeps.

Coffee. Motorcycles. Friends.
The simple stuff. The good stuff.

I suppose it’s all part of the journey where we love to flood the gram with overcooked images from Lightroom to make art that connects us to our community.
For the largest part of my life I’ve been a mechanic, the guy that fixes stuff and I’m never afraid to get my hands dirty so I leaned into it and built a fun lr filter that I call oil embargo B&W, (yes, I lived through the oil embargo back in the 70’s). It seemed fitting for today. The images posted are a handful of recent shots I’ve taken over the past couple of months that lent themselves to the grimy and gritty feel. My little FujiFilm X-T20 mainly paired up with a vintage Helios 44-2 lens really made these work but some were also shot with a modern 18-50mm Sigma too. I hope you enjoyed them and I look forward to exploring the medium of photography further. Don’t get too hung up on the framing of this post because Wabi sabi is kinda my thing too. See ya all on the road! by @petestr

Getting to take part of the incredible community Katie has put together with @ridetothewarehouse is truly an honor.

She’s created a space where women in this industry are welcomed, encouraged, and celebrated. Thank you for bringing us together, supporting women riders, and reminding us how big and supportive this community can be.

Grateful to be a small part of something so special.

And when Peter @petestr says.. the lighting sucks and a cell phone is held for a light and he still nails the shot! #feelingblessed by @petestr

There’s so much emotion in this setting. Megan was a bright light in our little world and a tragic loss for us. I had a strong connection with her and enjoyed her humor, passion and spirit. She was a talented rider that wasn’t afraid to mix it up with the boys on the track or the street. We spoke often and she was such a proud mother and a woman of great fortitude and character. I miss her and I’m happy to see her strength and beauty in @boozibear33
Rest in peace my friend.

It’s hard to express all of the feelings that were experienced over the course of the weekend. With all of the decisions, tasks and stress that piled up in the weeks before the show, I’m surprised that everything fell into place right up to the moment the doors opened for the event. As I parked the scissor lift after a day and a half of working with our amazing team hanging photos and setting displays, I stood back downing the last few sips of a warm liquid death and nibbling on a small handful of stellar pretzel twists I looked up to see what we created and how we transformed an old LA warehouse into a moto art gallery. A sight and event that I always struggle to explain to potential sponsors, vendors and anyone interested in attending. It’s a place of feeling, acceptance and community. As the first guests arrive at the door I take a moment to clean up, wash the warehouse dust off my sweaty arms and scrub my hands clean. I grab my camera, staff badge and whatever else I need and hit the floor. Everyone I see is a friend and the smiles, hugs and greetings fill my heart with joy. There’s new friends I’ve never met before and I greet them as if we’ve known each other for years. There’s such a deep connection here and I feel a manic swing as my emotions go from worry and anxiety to joy and laughter. Each step brings me closer to friends and the place I want to be. There’s a lot of emotions in this huge space. Love, death, success, sickness, joy and failure are all in here with us and the weight of it all does not go unnoticed. I hug everyone, listen to their impressions and feel their words. Yes, I am the guy that built this but I’m not the big deal, they are. They all are. Each photo hanging from the ceiling doesn’t just represent one woman on a motorcycle, they represent their whole part of their community, their family or clan. I’m happy to be here and I have love in my heart for everyone here.
All the best my friends.

All photos by Me! by @petestr

This is @ainjul captured in all her light. ✨

We’re always talking about community. Not the kind you talk about—the kind you show up for.

The Bikini Bike Wash was one of those days.

Motorcycles, laughter, sun on your face, and people coming together to support something bigger than themselves. A reminder that this culture has always been about more than bikes. It’s about connection. It’s about showing up. It’s about taking care of one another.

And this photo? It captures the entire vibe. Thanks @petestr 📸

Pure Kiki.

A woman with a huge heart, a magnetic spirit, and a gift for bringing people together. If you know her, you know. She pours everything she has into creating these moments, building community, and helping others along the way.

These are the stories we celebrate. These are the people who keep the wheels turning.

Thank you, sweet love, for reminding us what it’s all about. We see the work, the energy, and the heart behind it all.

A decade in motion is really just this—people like Kiki, showing up for each other, one gathering, one ride, one act of kindness at a time. ❤️🏍️
