PET HATE SOCIETY - is the solo electronic project of Nathan Parton, built around improvisation, experimentation and escaping the tyranny of the eight bar loop.

Drawing on industrial, breakbeat, dubstep, metal and dark ambient, Nathan uses modular synthesis and processed samples to create live sets that are deliberately unpredictable, rough around the edges and constantly moving.

A familiar face on the grassroots electronic music scene, Pet Hate Society has performed at Swansea EMOM and venues across Wales and beyond, with releases through Newport based Stridente Records alongside his own independent material.

Expect dark electronics, glitched rhythms, noise and absolutely no guarantee where it’s going next.

It’s out! New 4-track EP of noisy self-hatred.
Available most places, link in bio etc.

I’m actually reasonably pleased with it (if a bit sick of repeatedly listening to it!) by @pethatesociety

Thank you all for coming down to Lemontronic and making it such a wonderful night! 🍋❤️

Every artist brought their own unique sound and absolutely smashed it. We’re so lucky to have such a brilliant electronic music community here in Swansea.

Huge thanks to everyone who travelled to join us, all our local crew, the artists, music selectors and everyone who helped make the night so special.

Massive thanks too to @downbyhere for the venue and on going support. Truly appreciated! 💛

Lemontronic returns in two months, but before then we’ve got Lemon Drops at Hippos next month, bringing you a night of techno and electro. 🍋💣

Thanks again, everyone. You really do make this community what it is. ❤️

Wow @exrcism.live was pretty mental.
I didn’t take many videos but here’s a couple of clips smashed together.
The line-up was awesome. definitely need to @salandertech again, @miiketeknoist & @molliefknrush killed it - especially the last two tracks (the HENCH FKN TECHNO sticker is going on my live case when I get home!) , I think the sub bass from @kristabourgeoismusic modular rearranged my internal organs, @dj_deathmachine got me moving a lot, @breakforceone was amazing and reminded me how much I like stupidly fast ridiculous breakcore insanity

I had to give in at 3:30am because I was a bit broken by then. I’m almost half a century old though so I have an excuse. by @pethatesociety
