I’m obsessed with how this spread turned out! What a great decision it was to finally include orange on my palette.

Orange isn’t the only thing I changed though, I’ve also started using more turquoise to mix my greens, which I never used to do before!

One thing I like to do is look at a reference photo at the beginning, then hide it halfway through the process. It makes it easier to make changes, and add little things that feel more like me.

I'm very productive this week, I almost want to apologize for how much I've posted. Why am I like this? I worry I'll annoy people by sharing my art on an art account 🫣

I have to thank @ellenwilbergart for sharing her beautiful crocus photos for inspiration with me! 🌸

Coming back after a little while to share this spread 🌿 💚
I’ve been exploring more organic shapes and loose leafs lately.

This page was inspired by a visit to the garden center, my forever favorite place to go when I feel uninspired. They had an entire corner filled with fatsia japonica and I really liked how the leaf shape looked.

It doesn’t exactly look like what I originally had in mind, but I really love the color palette here. Pink and green color combos never look bad

I ended up liking the right page enough to try painting it on a larger watercolor sheet. Swipe through the carousel to see the bigger version in the other photos 🙏

I’ve been painting nasturtiums this weekend 🧡🌱

I’m growing a little nasturtium corner on my balcony, and I have three different colors, which is really inspiring. I’ll probably paint many more of them this summer. It's just my comfort painting subject!

Lately, I’ve realized that I don’t really enjoy sketching first and then painting over it. It kinda disturbs me I'm thinking more of coloring rather than painting.

I hope all like this one, it has a bit of a different color from my usual color palette!

It seems I’m not quite done with tulip spreads yet! Here we are again, using both pages 🌷✨

Honestly, I was happy for the most part, but then I painted the sky and started doubting my choices at the end. Still, I’m glad I pushed myself to paint bigger this time!

I’ve been feeling pretty down the past few days, so it honestly feels like a little miracle that I made this today. It feels good to slow down and do other things, but at the same time, it’s scary to go back to painting 😭

I spent some time painting tulips in my sketchbook today. It felt so good to paint again!! there’s nothing like the feeling of making things with your hands.

I’m happy with how it turned out, especially since I didn’t like my first try a few weeks ago.

Maybe you noticed that I took an unplanned break last week because I wasn’t feeling well. It felt strange to want to make art but not have the energy. I wish it goes away now 🫣

Trying to catch up on some plein air! I couldn't spend much time on it over the past few days, but I'm glad I went today!

My neighbor's yard is full of dandelions, you wouldn't believe we had snow just a week ago! It's one day winter and one day spring at the moment 😅

Yesterday I saw someone painting plein air with a large easel on my way to the pharmacy. I was impressed, he was using oil paints. I felt so small with my little square sketchbook!

I hope the start of April is going well for everyone, things are busy on my side!

Growing hyacinths in my sketchbook for #pleinairapril🪻

I’m obsessed with these gorgeous pink and yellow shades. Nature is truly gifted, and I’m grateful I can sit here and look at it 🙏

The light has changed a lot since I started, so it’s not entirely accurate compared to the photo. I’m really enjoying these painting sessions #pleinairapril2026

Thank you @warriorpainters for encouraging everyone to paint outside this month!!

Trying to squeeze in a bit of plein air painting between everything else for #pleinairapril 🌼

Just sat down by the roadside in the middle of some narcissus and went for it.

Honestly, huge respect for people who do this all April, it’s weirdly disturbing not being at a desk in perfect conditions, but kinda fun too.

Who else is giving it a try this month?

I’m so excited to share what I worked on yesterday! I’d had this painting project waiting for months, and I finally went for it ! 🪻❇️

I thought about reusing something from an old sketchbook page I liked. But at the same time, I started practicing painting violets in my sketchbook, so I just went with that idea.

One thing is that, this wooden box is made of really soft wood, and I’m not sure I can use it without damaging it. Maybe next time I’ll try to find one made of hardwood instead 🤔

If you look closely at the photo, you’ll see that I painted the flower facing the back instead of the front and I hate myself for it. All my friends say they don’t mind, so I don’t know maybe it’s not a big deal?

I'll be more careful next time 🙏

This month was about exploring loose flowers with gouache, spring weather and the first flowers really inspired me a lot!

I also added a few pages from last week that I didn’t feel like posting on the grid I thought the colors were a bit off, but I’m glad I tried anyway.

I can’t wait to paint flowers outside, but spring is a bit late in the mountains, so it’s not quite here yet!

Hello from the forest, where I’m enjoying the smell of humus on my walk this morning and also taking some great sketchbook photos! 🌱

I’ve been getting back into landscapes this week, which I haven't done much since we did @drawthealps. I want to get better at painting them !

I tried a little plein air session the other day… and of course I forgot water (as always 😭). Hoping to find some inspiration for plein air April !

I love this sketchbook spread, they look cute next to each other and the colors make me think of Zelda landscapes a lot!
