The best trail snacks brought to you by @petkind !

Of course right when I leave for my trip, Mona has the runs 🫠 I was assured by her Opie she is already doing much better thank goodness!

Gotta love the timing that I'm going out of town and Mona has an upset tummy. When it rains, it pours!

I'm having a great time but I also can't wait to be back home and hit the trails with Mona again 🥰

Have you ever had awful timing with going out of town and something happening to your dog(s)? 😅

Crisp golden mornings at camp are hard to beat 🏕️

Theres something about late season mornings at camp, when you need to bundle up for breakfast because the air is so fresh ✨ After I fill the french press, I always save some of the hot water to pour over the dog’s kibble so they also get a nice warm breakfast.

And I was really testing Ellie’s patients making her wait to dig in 📸

Scout’s current obsession: these treats 😂🐾 He LOVES them!!! I love them because they’re super easy to rip apart during training, so I can give him little bite-sized pieces without going through a whole treat every time.
Safe to say @petkind Tripe Treats have become a staple in our adventure bag. 🤎

This photo was so fun to take! Mona sure loves her @petkind tripe treats.

Do you have any leaf peeping plans? I'm sad I'm so busy during peak Fall colors in the ADK high peaks this weekend but I'm hoping I can swing by on my way home from Mona's neurology appointment for a quick hike!

Maybe it's a bit ambitious but life's too short to not have a packed full weekend if it means I get to peep some pretty leaves 🥰🍁

Peak Fall colors happen in stages across the entire state of NY which is nice. Fall colors can last for nearly the entirety of Fall if you plan it right!

Also yes- Mona's first attempt at jumping over these treats involved her bulldozing them over 😆

Patiently waiting for someone to realize my bowl is still empty…

Apparently mountain adventures are fun and all, but Denali would like everyone to know that dinner is the main event😂🏔️

We’ve been adding @petkind Tripe Dry into her meals for a little while now, and my notoriously picky girl has officially decided it’s worth waiting very patiently for🤎

Tonight’s choice: Green Tripe + Wild Salmon 🐟

Dinner with a view just tastes better🐾⛰️

A few of you have reached out asking about the new food we’ve been adding to Denali’s bowl, so I wanted to share a little more about it! 🐾🤎

We’ve been trying @petkind Tripe Dry alongside her usual food, specifically their Green Tripe + Bison formula. It’s made in Canada with green tripe as a main ingredient, has 32% protein, and is complete + balanced for all life stages🇨🇦

Denali has always been a notoriously picky eater, so finding foods she’s actually excited about can be a challenge — but she has been LOVING this one. And apparently she isn’t the only one… her bestie Scout got one small taste and has since decided the bag belongs to him😂 Swipe for evidence ➡️

I’m still mixing it with Denali’s normal food over time rather than abruptly changing her diet, and that’s been working really well for us. Especially as we slowly get back to our mountain adventures, I love being able to add another quality source of protein to her bowl🏔️🐕

We’re still trying it out and I’ll keep sharing our experience, but so far it has the Denali stamp of approval🤎

Have questions about PetKind? Drop them below! I’ve already gotten a few DMs and would be happy to answer what I can. 💛
