After working on this for most of the year, lead by our CSO @beaux.nose , we’re excited to finally share it with our community.

PMEX was built to help us better understand the dogs using Pet MatRx.
Whether you have a companion, sport, or working dog, your experience matters.

We’re gathering real-world information like lifestyle, diet, health history, and the changes you’ve observed, including when those changes first became noticeable.

Over time, these data will help guide future research, product development, educational resources, and continue moving the canine industry forward through real community-driven evidence.

This is bigger than a survey.
It’s an opportunity for every dog owner to help contribute to something that will continue growing for years to come.

Group training sessions are where good dogs become reliable dogs and good handlers become capable handlers. Real progress isn't made in perfect conditions—it's built through controlled exposure to different breeds, different environments, different training fields, and handlers of every experience level.

A quality trainer doesn't just teach commands. They know how to manage multiple dogs, read different temperaments, adapt to changing environments, and coach every handler to succeed. That's where confidence is built, distractions become opportunities, and real-world reliability is earned.

Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Growth doesn't happen inside your comfort zone—it happens when you challenge yourself, your dog, and your team. Train together. Learn together. Push each other. That's where the standard is set.

But can you imagine NOT letting your dog participate in movement activities that help fuel their genetics & purpose?

It’s a question worth thinking about, & often what the general public doesn’t have too much education about.

Dogs were purpose bred for a job.
Herding.
Retrieving.
Tracking.
Hunting.
Protection.
Detection.
Endurance.
They all share the theme of problem solving, too.

While not every dog needs to perform the job they were originally bred for, they ALL deserve opportunities to move, think, explore, and engage with the instincts that make them who they are.

Movement is so much more than exercise.
It builds confidence.
It creates connection.
It challenges the body and the mind.
It gives dogs an outlet to express natural behaviors in healthy ways.

Now pair that with appropriate nutrition, premium supplementation, recovery, and education, & a human thats willing to stand at the hilltops, advocating for them.

That’s where things start to come together for us.

Who’s ever had someone “poopoo” what they do with their dogs when it comes to their dog’s genetic potential? Or think they’re crazy for how they let their dog engage in the activities your dogs love?

Many still don’t think of their dog as an athlete.
Mostly due to forgetting where dogs came from.

Before there were couches, fenced backyards, and food bowls, there was movement their lives relied on, and movement their lives supported.

Dogs were bred to hunt, herd, retrieve, track, guard, protect, and explore.
They solved problems, covered miles of terrain, and relied on both their minds and bodies every single day.

Those instincts DID NOT disappear when dogs became our companions, & domesticated.

They’re very much still there.

You see them every time your dog follows a scent, carries a toy, patrols the yard, chases a ball, or gets excited to head outside. You see it in their daily drive.
They aren’t random behaviors.
They’re very much reminders of what dogs were designed to do.

This series isn’t about turning every dog into a competition dog.

It’s about helping more people understand that movement, purpose, nutrition, recovery, and enrichment aren’t luxuries. They’re part of honoring the incredible animal sharing our home.

Our goal IS NOT to make every dog a champion.

It’s to help every dog stay capable for as many years as possible, reaching their capability & greatest potential as the dog they are, in your home.

If you’ve ever looked at your dog and thought, “They’re made for more,” this series is for you.

Klimb Classic 2026 Recap!
This was our first ever Klimb Classic...it did not dissappoint!

Despite it being hotter than heck, ALL girls got new PB's!
🐾 Eleanor hit 15' 3" in Distance.
🐾 Leonna grabbed 18' in Air Retrieve (Wyatt was freaking out, it was adorable 😆)
🐾 Arya grabbed 16' in Air Retrieve

Both Leonna and Arya got their Air Retrieve Senior title. 🤩

This was Leonna and Eleanor's first time jumping anywhere other than their home dock & we could not be more proud.

As hot as it was we made sure to take many 🍉 snack breaks to refuel 😋

I was an air-head & forgot a container of raw, so we were about 10lbs short for the weekend. Thankfully our good buddies at Midwest Legacy Beef saved the day and delivered 10lbs right to the event! We absolutely love you guys! 😍 (If anyone wants to give raw a try, we could not recommend Midwest Legacy more! Use my discount code MIDWESTK9S for 5% off your entire order)
We ended the weekend with a 520lb raw restock which was so much fun to unpack at 11:30pm when we got home 😆 had to do some reorganizing, but we somehow made it all fit!

We all were absolutely exhausted come Monday but it was entirely worth it. The girls had so much fun all weekend & thats all that mattered to us. 💥

As always, thank you PetMatrx, Country Paws Canine Athletic Center & Midwest Legacy Beef for keeping our girls in tip top shape!! They couldn't do the things they do without y'all!

Thank you Klimb for putting on such a fun event, all of the volunteers who worked so hard to keep things running & everyone with the North Central & Great Lakes Mobile docks who made it possible for us to compete, y'all are amazing! 😁

Anyone else?

✅ Packing the car like you’re moving away for a month
✅ Checking the dog gear list… then checking it again
✅ Charging the kennel fan, GPS, car kennel thermostat and every battery you own
✅ Meal prepping for both you and your dog
✅ Running back inside because you forgot one thing (again)
✅ Filling the gas tank… and grabbing your second (or third) coffee ☕
✅ Driving hours for just a few minutes of fun off or on the field, or for endless hours of work
✅ Replaying tomorrow’s routine, run, or course in your head all night
✅ Making sure you actually wake up for your dog’s last big weekend day

The lifestyle is everything that happens before and after it, and what keeps us all going for more.

It’s the THRILL.

And honestly… we wouldn’t have it any other way. 💯
