Day 9 on the via Podiensis. Estaing to Golinhac, a shortish walk 10 miles, 16K with time to stop for some knitting and of course walking with naturalists there was a lot of birdwatching and listening. #viaPodiensis #longdistancewalking taken in Golinhac by @petrakt

Day 3 on the via Podiensis. A long 28Km, 18miles today from Sauges to Les Faux, so many beautiful meadows, wild narcissi, mountain violets, orchids, anemones and so many more. The photos don’t do them justice. Some lovely woods section today too. #viapodiensis #longdistancewalls by @petrakt

Day 2. On via Podiensis. Saint Privat d’’Allier to Saige’s 13.5miles, 22Km. Brilliant blue sky after the sun burnt of the mist. A lovely walk with a climb and once again lots of wild flowers, butterflies and birdsong.
