Only one word to explain the aftermath of our Tarifa retreat.

Belonging ❤️

Belonging is this sense of security and support, when there is a sense of acceptance and inclusion as a member of a group.

We are missing the natural sense of belonging with family and neighbours, as we move far away from hometowns and busyness of life draining us from connecting with those close to us.

This is the main reason I organise my retreats, to be the possibility to connect with others and ourselves, in order to feel this deep sense of belonging.
Yes, of course it is also the magic of Tarifa, the amazing food by Eliza and her mom @wildnfitkitchen, twice daily yoga classes @petralindros and many massages with Ana, which also help. And Nieves @tarifa_connections ❤️ te quiero🙏🏻

But after our closing circle this Sunday afternoon, what each and everyone came back to was:
The love.
The acceptance.
The listening to others stories.
The feeling less alone in a world that swiftly divide us.
The tears of joy.
The tears of being broken.
The relief of hope.

This is how a successful retreat should leave you feeling.
That you belong.
That you love.
That you care.
And that now comes the time to share all of that mentioned to the people in our lives.

Thank you from the deepest most honest place of my heart.

Namaste (the divine in me, bows for the divine in you)

Now back to ”chopping wood and carrying water.” (= our own responsability to ourselves, in order to be able to be there for others.)

November classes are here - and this month we are doing things a little differently.

No fixed theme. Instead, we follow what is alive: some weeks more precision, some weeks more flow, some weeks slower and more still.
You tell me what you want to dive into. I will meet you there.

As Bruce Lee said: be like water. Water does not force its way - it finds it. It flows with it.

I also have one 1:1 spot that has just opened up for November and December. If you have been thinking about starting or deepening your practice in this last stretch of the year, this might be your moment. Get in touch if you feel the calling.

On the retreat front — Sri Lanka and Tarifa April 2027 are both fully sold out. If you missed out, keep an eye out for the next ones.

The good news: Tarifa October 2027 is now open. Dates are 24–28 October. If that calls to you, get in touch.

September came back swinging for most of us.

If you have spent the last few weeks feeling like you are running behind...
behind on work, behind on rest, behind on yourself — you are not alone.
I have heard it from many of you, and honestly, I have felt it too. The body tense, the mind scattered, unable to act on what actually feeds us instead of empty us. (yes, binging my fav serie can do both)

My teacher speaks of a distinction that has stayed with me: rather than trying to be ON time — let us practice being IN time.
Present, grounded and moving with life rather than chasing it. Easier said than done, I know.

That is exactly where October takes us.

This month we explore the Eightfold Path of the Buddha — eight qualities of being that, unfolded one by one, become a practical guide for arriving more fully in our own lives. Not eight separate roads, but one path that reveals itself in eight dimensions. We unfold it together, two qualities per class, across four Mondays.

October is your invitation to catch up. Let´s do it together.

Mondays in October · 19.00–20.15

September is here - and so are we. 🙏

As always a big thank you to my private summer clients AND welcome back regular yogi tribe to routine and habits.

From Monday 7th September I am back on the mat at Ananda Mandira Yoga, and I would love for you to join me — in the room or live on Zoom.

Slow Flow into Yin · Every Monday · 19.00–20.15

We begin with gentle, intentional movement — warming the body, settling the mind. Then we surrender into deep yin, releasing what we carry and arriving somewhere quieter inside ourselves.

And every month we explore a theme rooted in yoga philosophy — because this practice was never just about the body. It is about understanding ourselves, our relationships and the world we are living in.

This September we sit with three ancient and quietly radical truths:

Dukkha — no thing is perfect
Anatta — there is no separate self
Anicca — all things change

If you have ever found yourself fighting what is, clinging to what was or bracing for what might be — this month is for you.

All levels welcome. Recording available for those who cannot join live.

Come as you are. Leave a little quieter.

ps. I also have one remaining space in my private 1:1 programme for September and October — available online or in person... we either Begin Again or Dive Deep depending on where you are and where you want to go. by @petralindros

When the world gets heavy, flip it upside down. The sky reminds me: change is happening, just at a speed we can hardly see. by @petralindros

Found my spot for the first Summer Yoga Recordings!

Not too late to sign up- choose one, or two or all three!
They will be recorded in Sweden, Spain and Greece.

The bonus fun part in this one is my little intimate encounter with a very stubborn spider very much wanting to be close to my ❤️🤦‍♀️ by @petralindros

Tonight we arrive at the fourth and final Purusharta.

And this one cannot be chased. Cannot be achieved. Cannot be earned.
Because Moksha is not a destination.
It is the recognition of what was always already there.

The Sanskrit root means to release, to let go, to be free.
But what are we free from?

Well the yogis say that we can free us from identifying with every thought, every fear, every story about who we are and who we are not.
Free from the exhausting performance of being someone.
Free from the grip of the past and the anxiety of the future.

Tonight we close four weeks of exploring how to live a life of purpose, resources, joy and freedom — on the mat and far beyond it. 🙏

As always, live at Ananda Mandira Gong Yoga, 19.00 Monday 25 May (and zoom/recording)

Definitely half way through.
I think. I hope.

Realising knowing less is more.

And that face.
Each line a mirror of that special laughter. And despair.

And there it is again- that ONE grey eyebrow hair that keeps coming back to say- accept me. love me.

Grief.
No regretting. But still seeing how each choice nulled all other choices.
And welcoming that all choices were right. They led me here.

Maybe half way there.
Or not. by @petralindros
