Most people don't lack the desire to change.
They just keep choosing comfort over it.

And I get it, because for many years I used to do the same - complaining about my situation, feeling tired every day but not doing anything about it, because I was scared and couldn't be bothered to do anything about it 🫠

It's easier to doomscroll and take your mind off of things instead of pushing yourself, especially after a long shift at work. I get it, especially as someone who's been working 14-hour night shifts.

But at some point you will notice the pattern of things staying stagnant, and nothing about your life changing much - other that you increasingly feeling like you want more from life.

And that's just it - you can't expect to do the same s*it every day and expect different results!
If you want something different, you'll have to push yourself, invest in yourself, get uncomfortable and be open to learning new things!

But like anything that's hard in life - it will be so worth it. Don't spend another day wasting your time scrolling, when you could be earning from the same device 💪

Look, I just want to clock in, do my job well, and clock out.

I have zero interest in reading through endless company newsletters, updates, mandatory initiatives, shift gaps, and all the other 'extras' I'm expected to keep up with when I'm already working overtime most weeks 🫪

If you're emailing me, I'd much rather it be about a pay rise, extra holiday or an early finish (oh wait, that never happened).

I want more time for slow mornings, being outdoors, travelling, reading books and spending time with people I care about. Not more emails.
Because the older I get, the more I realise time is the thing I'm least willing to waste...

The contrast really puts things into perspective 😅 Annual leave is the one thing keeping us sane and motivated to keep going... and also the thing that keeps us trapped in the cycle every year.

Work -> holiday -> recovery -> repeat.
